If Lupol hadn't been included in the deal that involved Beauch., what would you be expecting for Lupul be today?

At maximum 30-35 points. More depth scoring for the Ducks. And no Cogliano on team I think.

Fun fact. In the past 6 games Beauchemin has 2 goals and 4 assists. Lupul + Gardiner have 2 goals and 5 assists.

If he were on the Ducks I'd expect a little over 20 points out of him right now. 0.5 PPG. He'd be on 2nd or 3rd ES line and 2nd PP line. Unless he managed to stick on the top line (which I wanted), but then he'd still probably only get about 30 points since the top line was mediocre for much of this season and he wouldn't have pulled them out of it.

Anaheim Lupul was a 40-50pt perimeter player who couldn't be bothered to backcheck or stop and start. That changed slightly after he came back from his gross infection but he still wasn't what he is now.

It's not unreasonable to think that the 4th trade in his young career finally woke him up. His quotes on it do indicate that he's a little bitter about it so it could certainly be driving him. I'll be very curious to see how he looks next season.

mmm nothing that big just about 40-50 points for the next 6 years...dude loves himself some newport beach...and i love that he loves newport and the ducks.
