KO, Grabs, Hamonic, Mac, Montoya all can be here for a long time, Ill add rthem

PA, Moulson, Streit, Nielsen are all great, and I want them to be here for a while, but ar ethey a part of the young core? No, they are just great players who sadly can be replaced wit other older players like them.

Poulin, Nilsson, Cizikas, Ullstrom, Dibo, Niderreiter, Strome, De Haan, Donovan, Ness, Rakhshani, Dibeedetto, Mayfield, Cizikas, Lee, Nelson< Kabanov, Petrov all have potential to join the core in the enar future. we'll see.

Strome is the key though. If he can develo into a franchise type player, and then one of Poulin, Nilsson, or Montoya becoems a franchise goalie, we have a ton options to put arind them and make this teama consistent contender

Martin is not a core player, he is a complementary guy. Core guys are 1st line guys, top 4 dmen, or a number 1 goalie. Martin is a nice player to have and can complement a team but you build around your core guys not your 3rd line.

Your core guys don't go away easy, carry the flag, reach down when all is not well, refuse to lose!
You build around no quit guys!

Frankly half the guys with the points and top line status are the reason success is always around the corner, hot/cold and bring not much else.
You have 40pt guys that cost you 60pts for the 40 they get.
