The lack of fundamentals on this team is amazing.

My guess of players that will not be back with the SJ organization next season:

Patrick Davis
Joe Loprieno
Kevin Henderson
Frazer McLaren
Sean Sullivan
Michael Swift
T.J. Trevelyan

Cory Quirk, who is on an AHL deal with Worcester, is also going to be gone.

Dan DaSilva is about 50-50 at this point.

You could literally roll a beach ball through it...and there's no way his pads are NHL legal. They're freakin' huge.

What happened to McLaren anyway?

it was thought he was a lock to crack the NHL this year. he played in Europe and a couple more games, got sent down and hasnt been seen since

He's a fighter that doesn't fight, is playing pathetically bad and takes absolutely brainless penalties. He's taken about four giant steps back in his development, and I can't see him being even offered a contract for next season.

Why did part 6 of the Worcester Sharks thread start now. Part 5 only would have about 3 weeks left.

How has Sateri looked thus far? I know its only 3 games and he hasnt done great in them. Just was curious, for those who have seen him so far in the AHL, does he show some good upside at least?

Thanks.

In 16 years of AHL hockey in Worcester tonight is the earliest I have ever left a game in disgust.

I was going to pay my deposit for next year's season tickets tomorrow. Now I'm not sure I am going to bother. I've had enough of the idiots running the show in San Jose...

I reckon this has something to do with your rant:

@WorcesterSharks Worcester Sharks

Sharks trail 4-0 after 2 periods of play.

I hope you don't bail and the Sharks org treats you guys better next year. We love your contributions here and it would be a loss for us too.

All season long this team has sucked. I can only imagine how bad it would have been if Cheechoo hadn't fallen into their laps.

And I know it will be WORSE next season as Worcester will have two very overpriced guys on the roster (MacIntyre and Moore) sucking up any money San Jose would spend to put possible veterans here.

I'm sick of losing, and to be blunt when there are losers running an organization that means the organization will lose.

Tonight was "Heroes Night" in Worcester. To bad there aren't very many on the team.

I wish I could give you more, but only saw him in one full home game (he played tonight in relief but I left early due to the suckfest).

He was OK - gave up a bad five holer. Looks like a lot of real estate in the five hole area. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of him since we are virtually out of the playoffs now. Hoping to see good things from the kid.

You can keep him.

It's only fair that SJ fans have to see how clueless their front office is.

Sorry I missed this earlier...although my answer might not have been of such high quality anyway.

Speed pretty much nailed it...and not that it matters but I bought my first authentic lettered jersey a few days ago. It's Sateri's.

I say let's start next season with a completely new set of D. Requirements include:
1. being able to make a break out pass that hits the tape of a teammate
2. not falling asleep to allow breakaways behind you
3. an ability to fire the puck from the point without hitting the defender 5 feet in front of you
4. occasionally winning a battle behind the net

Taking applications.

Remember Stalock's "circus save"?

Hutton had one of his own tonight, and I expect we'll be seeing it on ESPN some time this week.

I am removing Davis from this list. I now think he will be re-signed by SJ.

He always seemed to kill Worcester when they played the Devils, so I was expecting more of a goal scorer. What we got is an Andrew Desjardins type player, and he's very good in that kind of role.
