39 is a no go, 22 and 23 are taken, and 27 is retired. He'll get 18 from Lou and he'll like it.

When we get Zajac back our 4th line is going to be sexy.

I like this move, low risk with potential for a moderate reward.
Kind of curious why we're trading for a forward, makes me think Teddy's days are numbered.

Another Ruskie for Kovy?
He's from the Ukraine. lol

Didn't lose much at all. Not a big fan of Poni though, in fact I'm not a fan.

The Foster and Ponikarovsky acquistions are pretty interesting actually. Lou gave up 2 scratches, 2 late picks, and a prospect to get depth at D and LW.
Tedenby = Albany bound. That is good btw. He could use tons of icetime and hopefully some swag

I think it's a great depth move. I think this means Tedenby is playing the rest of the year in Albany.

Sova was going to be a nobody. And a 4th is a 4th. Can't complain.

True, but I'm positive he speaks Russian. Even Zubrus does, and he's Lithuanian.

I can tell you right now it won't be Zharkov. Maybe Boulton or Mills. Either way, it should be a capable fourth line.

And that prospect was an undrafted FA who was getting scratched in the AHL. He got very good value considering that.

I suck at making line combos.
Parise - Henrique - Kovalchuk
Zubrus - Elias - Sykora
Poni - Yayo - Clarkson
??? - Carter - ???

Mills and Janssen at the wings? Boulton and Tedenby are scratches. Tedenby gets sent down when Greene is healthy/D gets called up. When Zajac is healthy and centering the 3rd line, depth will be good.
