Roller cost me $250 when he lost to TJ Grant. I thought that would be an easy fight for him so I put it on my parlay and it ended up being the only fight I lost.
I've never been impressed with Johnson and I think Roller will win but I'll never pick him again. He could be fighting you and I would pick you to win.

Hahahahahahaha. I am that way with a few fighters, too.
So excited for this card. I like Munoz and Sonnen a lot so I'm kinda glad Munoz is out (not glad that he is hurt though) so I can hopefully see Bisping get GnPed for 15 minutes.
Also, not sure what I'm more excited for: the actual fights or the possibility of Chael talking even more smack to Anderson after he wins.

Don't look for much trash talk from him. He's pretty much to the point that he believes that he and Anderson will never fight again. He's been calling out GSP and Jones as of late.

Dana came out and said winner gets Silva. So if he wins, which he will, he gets his rematch and I have to hope that he says something even more epic than last time.

I'm pretty sure that's just Chael trying to goad Anderson into a fight, calling out the two guys that everyone seems to want Anderson to fight(other than himself).

Chael's a clown so I wouldn't read too much into that. Sure some of it is entertaining but you should never actually believe what he's saying.
When Dana was told that Chael guaranteed he will never fight Anderson again, his response was: "I 100% guarantee that the winner of the Sonnen/Bisping fight will fight Anderson for the title".
He also said it will most likely happen in Brazil. So unless Chael plans on losing to Bisping, he will be fighting Anderson again.

Oh I know. Chael being Chael

If Sonnen wins, which is more than likely that he will, having him fight in Brazil is a huge risk. People want to kill him. Are they going to drop him in by helicopter to make sure he avoids the crowd? lol. Seriously though, if something bad were to happen to him in Brazil during the event it would be a massive black eye for the sport.
Not the first time a 'hated' sports figure or team went into a country, and it won't be the last. This will be nothing compared to some of the stuff that goes on in soccer.

Very true. Security better be out the ass for this event though.

True. But Sonnen has openly blasted the country and some of it's biggest icons in the sport on many, well documented occasions, not sure how many rival soccer teams have done anywhere near the same. All it take's is one nut to take things too seriously to ruin what could be a really awesome atmosphere.
That said, I trust that the UFC will go through all avenues to make sure that Sonnen is as safe as possible.
I don't think Sonnen/Silva 2 should be in Brazil. Not for safety reasons, but I don't like the hometown advantage in a huge fight like this. Do it in Vegas or some other neutral venue because this would be the 2nd fight in a row in Brazil for Silva. They gift GSP too many hometown crowds as well.

I totally get why people would have apprehension about it, its an extra 'risk'. I just think if you looked at the grand scheme with these types of situations in sports (soccer, stuff during the Cold War, boxing) its just not a big deal.

I don't have a problem with it!, mostly because its a rematch. Silva already beat Sonnen, he had his chance on neutral ground. I think the location will be least of Sonnen's worries come fight day anyway.
The main thing is that it comes down to business though. This fight makes more money in Brazil. It gets more exposure. That's why you see GSP in Canada so much, too. When you make things an "event" and not just "UFC 167" it brings in big dollars.
Then the UFC can use all of those dollars to pay 30+30 to a random Brazilian dude making his debut, so everyone on the internet can be happy.

Brazil and "safe" dont belong together. There is no way they can ensure his safety there. Especially in a stadium of 100k+ people. Its just a really bad idea.
But in the end, even if they did schedule the fight, it wont happen. Silva is scared of Sonnen and would just come up with a last minute faux injury to avoid the fight.
