Seems like they're trying to get the prelims on Sportsnet One for every single event. It's hard to put 5-6 hours of UFC on the regional Sportsnet channels for 2-3 Saturdays each month so I'm glad they added Sportsnet One.
Actual card is at 5.

No prelims it seems.

Actual card is at 5pm Pacific time. The pre-lims start at 2pm Pacific and are apparently going to be aired on SportsnetONE, although my listings say they're showing skiing. However, the link below states they will be showing the pre-lims starting at 2pmPT/5pmET:

I think any reporter or fan who asks, "Why do people hate Rashad Evans?" or "Why is Rashad always getting booed?" should go watch that press conference and they'll have their answer.

The guy is such a dick and unlike Chael, it's not all an act to get attention. Even guys like Koscheck and Bisping are more likeable than Rashad. I do think this was a step up for him though, no Penn State comments this time.

It's going to be very tough for Davis but I hope he takes him out.

Am I alone in hoping Rashad wins this fight so Jones can blast him?

I thought about that but that would mean having to listen to Rashad for another couple months and then watch him fight for the title again. I think it's better if a less proven guy like Davis beats him now and takes him out of the title picture.

This.

I hate Jones. Just hate him. Which is very sad because when he was coming up, I was a big fan.

Gunna have to go and watch the presser now. Helwani tweeted how it was pretty good.

For those who hate Jones/Rashad, now would be a good time to get behind Phil Davis. He seems like a decent guy and I've heard him interviewed many times. The guy is charismatic as hell and is a hard guy to dislike.

I just really don't think he's ready for the top guys though. His striking isn't good enough to hang with Rashad, and he hasn't looked fluid enough in his fights to think he will have picked up enough to be effective here.

I actually like Davis, Rashad, and Jones. I find them all entertaining for different reasons. Davis could end holding a belt at some point, but I think he's more likely to be a top five guy who will win and lose based on the matchup. This Saturday will answer a ton of questions.

Same here. I actually like both Rashad and Phil Davis, so I won't be too disappointed no matter who wins.

For anyone who hasn't seen the presser, it starts at 24:17

I like chance for Davis to win this one. He's got height and reach advantage on Evans AFAIK. His ground game is very good and I think his reach advantage will be able to help him neutralize Evans' striking.

I will try to remember to put my predictions up tomorrow.

Davis has a chance in this fight IMO, he's been off for a while, but might be able to catch Rashad off guard if he's made some big strides in his game. Rashad only has one loss on his record, but he does have a suspect chin IMO (other than being KO'd he was dropped by both Rampage and Silva who were too gassed to finish it), so I could always see him getting caught.

The PC was absolutely hysterical, I can't believe Chael showed up with his belt

Same to this. Something about him just irks me. He just seems to try to come off as down to earth and modest when in the end he just looks phony. Maybe it just has to do with his lack of personality or charisma, everything just seems "forced" with him.

Anyway, I like Davis, but I don't think he has the tools to beat Rashad. Evans' wrestling is good enough to nullify Davis' over a 5 round fight and I don't think Davis has enough power to KO Rashad who will likely win in the stand-up. I expect this to be a 5 round decision win for Evans.

That's one of the reasons why I'm starting to like GSP less and less. He's like a robot when someone puts a camera in front of him. I give Jones a pass though because he's still very young and he always puts on a show when he fights.

Aldo running into the crowd won me over as a big fan.

As for genuine and sincere class, look no further than Big Nog and his heir apparent, JDS. I'll be fans of both of those guys forever.

Yep, big Aldo fan too. It doesn't get much more organic than what he did after that fight.

Jones is a pretty big phony. I want to know who the real Jon Jones is. If he's an *******, I'm fine with that, but don't fake otherwise.

Not at all impressed with them being on Sportsnet One, though mostly because Rogers shoe horns you into paying for the VIP cable package to watch. Another among the many reasons the Canadian telecommunications industry needs to be deregulated to encourage competition instead of creating this oligopoly of Bell, Telus and Rogers.

I'll just find a stream and stick it to them before the main events start.

I'm with Shaw and they've recently made SportsnetONE part of the basic cable packages. Hopefully the other providers follow suit.
