Nah, I actually wouldnt be surprised to see the point totals either stay about where they are, or drop a bit. Yah, offensive players might be better due to the lockout and signings, but so are defensmen and goalies.
I think you'll also see better defensive schemes implemented to keep the top players in check... Its like a mini-NHL
The Admirals had the most potent offense in the league by far last year, and with the additions defensively to the club - Hamhuis is back, Suter and Klein were signed....The coaching staff says they will be even more offensive. I'm not sure if anyone is the caliber player to lead the league in scoring....certainly not a favorite over Spezza. However, Milwaukee has some extremely talented players that will put up a lot of points under Claude Noel. Expect big numbers out of Upshall, Shishkanov, Gamache, and heck...maybe even Jordin Tootoo this year.
Spezza would be a dissapointment if he doesnt win and get at least 95. I'll say you'll need that at least to win.
A homer vote, yet realistic is Balej. He was over a point per game player last season (62 points in 60) and is booming in the preseason (5 points in 2 games). If he plays 80 games he will get at least 90 IMHO.
