The area was then sealed off to allow the bomb disposal expert to check the package over before he eventually declared it suspect.

Interesting qualifying session to say the least.

GP2 never fails to deliver huge crashes.

Schumy falls to 5th in the starting grid despite having the best qualifying time because of his crash last race. Guy can't catch a break.

What a finish. 1-5 was bumper to bumper through the last 8-10 laps. No overtaking as usual for this race, but exciting none the less.

Raik got screwed over by his team. Was in good position but was told to stay out way too long, wearing down the tires, and eventually backed up the entire field. By the time he did pit, everyone was able to gain a position on him.

Schuey, despite the 6th place start, did not finish....again.

Great drive Weber, congrats.

I'm trying to figure out if he's putting too much stress on the car with his driving style, or if the car is simply not good enough. I'm starting to lean to the former, considering how much success Rosberg is having. In which case, this might be it for Schumi.

As a Mclaren fan.. I'm kinda praying the Redbull is illegal for this race..

Only 2-3 overtakes.. I seem to remember there used to be more at Monaco?

Not sure if they will interfere with the actual race but the event will be a bit dirupsted at least.

It's ok guys I'm in Montreal, I'll fend them off with the pole that came with my Mclaren flag

Given McLaren's luck this year, debris of your flag will end up puncturing Hamilton or Button's car leading to a compromised strategy of both drivers.

That is a possibility I was not aware of, guess I`ll have to sacrifice the body , maybe my blood might provide a slick surface for both Mclaren drivers to slide off the track

It'll be Hamilton's fault anyway...

Vettel wins pole.

Finally a race I don't have to wake up at a ridiculous hour to watch. What I've been wondering is why don't they just host a NA tour where they go from Montreal to Texas. Why do they need to bounce around from one end of the planet to the other? Just seems ludicrously expensive.

Montreal isn't gonna move from its June date, and Texas circuit isn't ready and could be hot enough to cause problems this time of year. Texas and Brazil are back-to-back though, which is good for travel considerations.

There were rumors that Ferrari might grab him in place of Massa. He's very underrated right now.

It's insane how even with an extra pit change, Hamilton still managed to catch up to Vettel and Alonso. Not a big fan of his, but he gets my respect after a race like that. Atleast Vettel got past Alonso. Loved watching him fall like a stone in the last couple laps.
