Even though Hamilton won the race, Perez gets my vote for driver of the day.

Given how this season is unfolding, Valencia might actually be not boring!

Curious, who got the most fan support there? I assume there were alot of Ferrari fans just because it's the "cool" thing to do, but from what Hamilton said after the race there were quite a few British flags waiving.

Will Valtteri Bottas get a chance at a f1 team next season?

Spaces in a lot of teams. Don't see why he might not be asked.

I had a great time in Canada. Not just the race, there's a buzz around the whole town. Anyone trying to decide on a race to go to, I highly recommend Montreal.

In my section there was probably about equal amounts of cheering when Alonso was in front as there was when Hamilton retook the lead. Although there was only one Ferrari hat man ...

My dad ordered 2 tickets but I'm not sure how much they were. I'm guessing pretty expensive. I probably won't get to go but I'm planning on making it there in the future. So happy f1 is returning to the US again either way.

By a buzz around town do you mean rioting? Glad to hear you had a good time. If you can survive the array of annoying montreal canadian fans, than it's a fun city to visit for sure. Good bars, pretty women.

That hat....good lord.

Nah, just like the stuff on Crescent St. and all the little concerts/events/parties/etc. all over the place.

Besides, I've been in towns with real riots, the Montreal protest is all kid stuff by comparison.

I was there for 4 days and still feel like I only saw the tiniest fraction of what the city had to offer. Definitely will go back someday, even if it's not for the GP.

Well the dude kept getting photo requests and got to pose with a constant stream of cute girls, so I guess we can't be too critical.

Got a question: since the current 2.4 litre V8 engines will be replaced by 1.6 litre V6 turbo engines in 2014, will that mean we'll see the return of those classic engine roars instead of these dreadful screeching sounds of today?

Nope, if they sound anything like the GP3 cars of this year, it's like 30 lawn mowers going around the track.

I'd say Perez is a safe bet but... thought Massa was finished in Ferrari 2 years ago and last year as well

Perez is an option, but I think Alonso would prefer someone slower but more reliable, who'd be satisfied with his role as the #2. Kovalainen?

We saw how well that worked out for McLaren last time

Another pole for Vettel.

Alonso failed massively there in front of the home crowd. Reckon Vettel might struggle to hold the pole on the first lap as the first few corners are hard to navigate, especially that one into the bridge.

Hopefully Kimi can get a decent points total or even sneak onto the podium

Ferrari is ridicolous, as they were last seasons, I expect Alonso to do good today, but can't see him better than 4th or 5th

Valencia is such a boring race.

Boring when Vettel starts first as well as he just stays there without a challenge.

UNBELIEVABLE.

I'm not a McLaren fan, but I am still pissed off for Hamilton. That's just ridiculous.
