When we played L.A. I bet vcash on the Kings and said because of that knowing my luck we will win.
So here is me taking one for the team again, I voted for Calgary, and knowing my luck, I will lose the bet.
Personally I think it's silly bringing back Hall that soon. I'm sure Hall is chomping at the bit, but why risk anything when they could give him a few more days to heal properly and not risk reopening it. It's not as if this is a make or break game in a playoff chase or anything.
The downside risk is too high and even the optics and PR is bad if he opens up the wound again... people can finger point and say once again the Oilers push their players back too soon.
oh jebus, why are they letting hall play tonight?!? this seems like a really, really bad idea
Why not let him rest now and then take advantage of the extended time off during the all star break. He would then be completely healed (or close to it) by the 1st game after the all star break.
Fully expect to get out-classed, out-worked, out-skated, out-played, out-coached, out-everythinged tonight.
Another Battle of Alberta game to remind us how far we have to go. Another litmus test with poor results. Another night of excrutiating hockey. Another night of Kevin Weekes and the rest of that CBC circus crew...
Zero expectations, if Hall plays, he probably finds a way to get re-opened because that's just how it goes.
