AHL Outdoor Classic - Marlies vs Bulldogs - Jan 21st 1 PM ET Sportsnet/TVA Sports
Didnt see this posted or mentioned anywhere.... probably because not many people care. Much more excited for tonights Alumni game vs. the actual match up tomorrow afternoon.
The line-ups aren't nearly as bad as I expected them to be when this was all announced in the summer.
One of the few perks of being a habs fan in southern Ontario!! Anyone else on here going?
I plan on getting there niiiiice and early to soak it all in and hopefully shake a few hands. Living here most of my life, ive had very little opportunities to see any of these "big" names up close.
Ill be there for both games ! The Spec announced they have 20,000 tickets sold for tomorrow, we will see how many will actually be here though. I think I'm more excited for the alumni game tonight, lafluer and cournyoer as coaches and carbo will be playing will be cool, my buddies are leaf fans and their pumped at the leaf roster too so it should be a good time, dogs vs marlies during the day and habs vs leafs at night
This is a huge game for the Dogs, they are 6 pts back of the 1st place marlies, they are 3-1 vs them so far this year, with 7 more games between after today. 2 pts back of 8th in their conference as well.

How has Avtsin been lately? Any particular reason he's on the 1st line? I remember a while back he was being played on the 3rd line, last year 4th, this is why I ask.
The have to play the same team 12 times in one year?
yes, 12 games vs the marlies.

He's been working hard and has looked a little better. The flashes of skill are there from time to time.
How has Ian Schultz not made the jump to the big club yet?? He was a force when I got to watch him with the Calgary Hitmen and made the push to the Memorial Cup.
Is it just due to contracts or has his play not been good enough for the 3rd/4th line role?
Mitera has to try and clear the front of the net there.
I think Avtsin would've benefited from a season in junior over here. At least he could get used to the size of the ice playing against kids his own age/size.
