He ruled himself out after the game yesterday.
Considering it's probably a re-occurrence with the groin injury and the break in the schedule after Tuesday, he'll likely rest until after the All-Star Break.

Shut Jagr down. Just release a statement saying that he is going to sit out for a month just to take every precaution possible. If this team thinks they can win the Stanley Cup, they can't have a Forsberg-lite circus around Jagr.

Give it your best effort today boys. Hopefully, our rookies step up again and Giroux pots a goal or two.

Can't see us winning this game. I can't wait until this team is healthy again and hopefully with an addition of a defender.

THis game is a huge test for the flyers injuries or not. Last time I left the wells Fargo in the 2nd period down 6-0!

Laviolette mentioned, almost in a veiled way a few days ago, that Bryzgalov would get both starts this weekend and that Bobrovsky would go against the Islanders based on his history against them (yeah, I know).

Ference has been suspended for today's game. Confirmed by Julien, length of time has yet to be released.

I agree. Luckily the ASB is around the corner.

I am very interested in seeing how these two teams match up right now. There is a lot of size and grit in the Flyers lineup that we have been lacking in the last matches against them. This could turn into a physical low scoring old time hockey game.

He (Laviolette) had Schenn on the top line yesterday as Jagr's replacement.
Couturier's line seems to have chemistry.
The bottom two lines, he shifted Harry Z/Sestito from what I had listed earlier in the day.
All that said, I wouldn't be surprised if there are in-game adjustments depending on the nature of play.

I don't have a problem with Sestito, but if Shelley is going to play, I'd rather have Wellwood playing.

I don't understand why a guy like Sestito is called up and immediately plugged into the 3rd line. Just leave him up here and send Rinaldo or Harry Z back down. Or most preferably, waive Shelley.
