what? ok

I think we have a 50-50 chance of winning the game. Since we are not playing with skill no Sharp or Toews we better be equal or close to equal in hits.

Defense needs to step up....

How about a 1-0 win for the Blackhawks where a goalie steals a game?

If it turns out Jonny is hurt for a long time then yeah, it is a big deal. But it's one game at a time for now, so no, it isn't a big deal. Even with Jonny and Sharp out we still have way more talent than Nashville, so if we can't get it done at home with that advantage, then like I say we really are in trouble. Kane's making the same dough as Jonny. Time to step up.

He's not going to be hurt for a long time. If there was a break or something like that they would have put him on IR like they did Sharp.

yeah... that's the reason you take your #2 Center away and line him up as 3rd Line Wing.

Team is going to lose without their best player and leader on the ice. Its not even his skill that helps the hawks, its his whole attitude and work ethic. He shows he works his ass off every shift and tries to get the guys to do the same thing. When we're losing, he's still trying, unlike Patrick kane, the most uncaring skater in the world.

Interesting to see who's going to wear the "A", any guesses?? My guess is Hossa.

This Lawrence guy on 670 the Score is literally yelling that the Hawks aren't giving specific details about Toews's injury. Even going as far to say "if you don't need to know about your Captain then you're not really a fan".

Lol this town has no shortage of bandwagon fans who don't know what they're talking about

You folks give up too easily. Think of it as a character builder.

This quote yesterday from Q says it all:

"You miss his leadership and importance to our team," Quenneville said. "Guys can add something to the leadership group when you're missing your captain. You find out more about your team.”

I think Bolland will be fine no matter where Q plays him and if there ever was a time for Kruger to prove he belongs, it is now. Everyone has to contribute though.

I would have liked it if they called up Pirri to play on the number one line.

Yeah, would have made the playoffs in 2008 if Toews didn't get hurt.

I don't think he knows the NHL. You rarely get the details. He should go back to talking about Derek Rose's toe and fungus if he wants to talk about details.

Pirri centering Brunette and Hayes at morning skate. Either Bickell or Smith are scratched.

Bickell will be scratched again... Didn't they say that he has some issues with his foot when they called up Smith?

That seems kind of a waste of him. But whatever, good to get another look.

Fact is, even without Sharp and Toews we still have more firepower than Nashville, and they surely don't have any forwards on the level of Toews or Hossa. Bolland has had a bit of a hot hand lately as well. Definitely a good character-building game. Let's see if this team can sack up and pick up 2 points.

I hope he returns before Feb. 16th not only for the Hawk's benefit but he is one of my favorite players in the league and I was really hoping to see him play at MSG against my Rangers
