Horrible Organization.

, Pathetic, Embarrassing, Humiliating, Degrading, Sickening,

It does not get any lower then this, and I bet it does.

As fans finishing dead last 2 years in a row, Finishing bottom 10 for 5 years in a row, not making the playoffs for 6 years in a row is about to get a whole lot WORSE
How about finishing last 3 years in a row ! how many times has this been accomplished, having the worst record in the NHL the last 6 years combined ! and the best yet having a 100 percent attendance mark.

What does all this tell you ? The Oilers are a horribly run organization. They spit on the faces of all the fans that have supported them with this for this long. No coaches have taken the fall, no managers have taken the blame, no one has ever been called out. Something needs to be done to show the fans they care. They care about the embarrassment they have become in this league. They care about the Joke they have become as a franchise.

I don't think they're 100% anymore. I've bought game time tickets a couple times this season.

A friend of mine went to the New Jersey game a while back and he was shocked by the amount of empty seats. It's not surprising but it's too bad that most of those empty seats are paid for. People are just opting not to go.

Our management thinks all a rebuild constitutes is tanking for 1st overall. And then praying that these teenagers will make us a good team.

I am envious of the Senators.

Yup.

I thought that Bryan Murray was insane when he said in the summer that the Senators wouldn't be embarking on a long term "re-build." Terrific GM.

Worst run franchise in professional sports.

I've seen Pop Warner football teams managed better.

I know how Isles fans feel.

It feels like Major League right now. I wish Kevin Quinn would start get loaded during games.

I don't blame people for not going, epecially on a weeknight. They should at least give their tickets to that Kids Upfront thing.

On Monday the Oilers should be taking out ads in both newspapers and sending emails to loyal season ticket holders apologising for this disaster.

But they won't. Silence is golden. Plus, you know, re-build.

Normally, that would be a nice gesture but I'm opposed to exposing children to graphic brutality.

I think it's a bit early too be saying that the Sens are going to be more successful in the next little while than the Oilers. This year, yes, after that we'll see.

I do think that Lowe, Renney and Tambo should be gone next year. Thanks for the 3 no. 1 picks, gtfo Edmonton. I'm not as high on Todd Nelson as a lot of people on here are though, only because he can barely conduct a radio interview (very ineloquent and quite honestly doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer) which is basically the opposite of silver tongue Renney and MacT, so maybe it's a good thing. He's done good things (as far as I can tell) in OKC and results are what matter.

WE have a great future here though, hate to say next year yet again but one more top pick might be the final piece that puts us over the top in a few years, I think it's better to finish 14th than 10th if we're out of the playoffs anyways.

It'd be better if Louie did it. Quinn would have to try to keep him in line, hilarity would ensue. And any canuck fans in the vicinity would be in trouble.

The Senators are pretty much the Avs from a few years ago. They just outscore their opposition.

Anderson's played great lately but they don't require him to.

Isn't that the whole point of playing the game? To outscore the opposition.

Speaking of horrible organizations. The rumors are heating up that the oilers have about 4 teams very interested in Hemsky. I bet that Tambo will string it out to the deadline but Hemksy will get hurt before he gets traded.

top 3 worst-run organizations in the NHL
-they hold NO ONE accountable for this mess...not. a. single. person.
-they expect people to shell out thousands of dollars to watch this horrible product
-they do NOTHING to improve the team

I doubt they can keep it up forever. They're 25th in GAA but 7th in GF.

It's crazy that they still sell out. Tells you how starved this city is for a team that wins games.

The Oilers should line-up against the Oil Kings for an evening... just to see what happens. I'll bet that the Oilers lose.
