For this team, right now, what would you rather have?

healthy 90+ point 6'4 240 Lindros type center

80 point mark howe type D man

Pronger in his prime

this has been a season long argument with a group of people ...........

If we didn't already have G and two young studs clogging up the center position, I'd take Lindros in a heartbeat. For this team though, Pronger in his prime would do us the best.

For me it depends on what rules we would be following, The old clutch and grab, hard hitting rules of the 80s, 90s, or today's rules .

Currently this team needs a Pronger in his prime.

Mark howe wouldn't be bad, though

Pronger.
Our d men can't hit the net with a slapshot. If I had a nickel for every mez or Carle wide slapper....

playing right now on this team making a run for the playoffs...

these players, coming close to providing their skills in todays game, for this current team

basically would you rather have a massive center throwing up 90+ points taking over a game, a skilled mark howe type D man, or prime pronger?

Howe. 80 point D-men are pretty much non-existent these days.

Pronger in his prime.

We're second in the league in scoring.

Pronger or Howe. All we really need is another top defenseman and the the team is fine.

Mark Howe, even now, at 52 he looks like he could still play!

this was a drunk in the middle of a expensive NYC trendy club while the girls were out dancing debate from earlier in the season.

goalie was to easy to include and keeping these two goalies played into the choice. what would make them a more dangerous team? addition of an 80pt skilled D man, pronger prime, or a huge 90+ point take over a game center.

sticking with the current two goalies.

Howe. Howe may not have the physical prowess as Lindros or Pronger, but he sure as ****ing makes up for it in just plain awesomeness on both offense and defense.

Why not all three AND Bernie Parent!

Seriously though, idk its hard. I would have to say Lindros but that's primarily because he's the one who got me into hockey so I'm a little biased and Howe's glory years were before my time.

I'd take any of the three... who wouldn't?

My first thought was Pronger in his prime because you can never have enough defensemen and I'd give a slight edge to Pronger over Howe.

Then I realized that I'd like to see anyone on the roster win a faceoff, so it'd be nice to have Lindros on this roster. Hell, give me Joel Otto.

I guess we are going like it was today. So with the make up of the team as is. I would go with the big hammer on the back end. Pronger in his prime would be my first choice. With Mark a very close second. If it was the old clutch and grab days then you would have to pick the Big E.

pronger in his prime was a 50-60 point guy during a time of less offense than when howe played. mark howe scored 80 points twice in his nhl career; every other year he was at 67 or less. so honestly, in their primes, pronger wasn't that much worse offensively than howe. definitely not a big enough offensive difference to offset how fantastic defensively pronger was.

Mark Howe was pretty damn fantastic defensively as well. If I had my choice, yeah, I'd definitely want Mark Howe in his prime on this club.

not really taking full career.... mainly what type player would you want right now having their career year.

on this team right now would you rather add an 80pt skilled mark H type dman, 90+ point earth moving center who can take over a game, primetime pronger.
