Nem isn't gonna like this.
why? the size? That's fine. It's when we get over 1000px by 1000px and into the super high-res wallpaper sized images that the boards go ape**** and start deforming. And really, it's mostly width that's the concern. This is like 600-something wide. No biggie.

45-60 MPH gusts and my Montery Cypresses do not like each other. Hope the arborist did a good job thinning them out last summer...

For those of you who love beer, but live under a rock, SF Beer Week is almost here! Really Bay Area Beer Week. It starts this weekend and goes through next weekend.

http://sfbeerweek.org/

This has been your beer public service announcement for the year.

My work gave me a free beer from this, it was a huge bottle of RR's Sour Brown Ale. Really good.

I can't be the only one who thinks this sounds exactly like Zach Braff.

It's really this guy

Sours are my fav. Cantillion, 3 Fonteinen, Russian River, Cascade, Jolly Pumpkin...

Sacramento area has a solid Beer Week lineup too. Last year, there was a Sour Fest at Sam Horn's in Folsom. It was incredible. Lagunitas and a couple others brought sours brewed exclusively for the event.

And they're doing it again this year.

Rose and Crown in Palo Alto and Triple Rock in Berkeley are both having Sour Beer fests this Sunday, I'm torn about which one to go to. It's a good problem to have

I also learned today about a new brewery starting up that is going to make ONLY sour beers! http://therarebarrel.com/

A text from one of my uncles, not sure if serious or he's just drunk.

"Hey, I've been sick for a few days and not sure if 100% yet. Problem is, I've got (soccer) practice (he is and has been involved a lot in our local teams work for ages) tomorrow and I'm not sure if I'll be able to go. I was wondering if you could fill in for me, I'm sure you remember the basic stuff? Text me in the morning if you're interested and I'll update my condition."

Of all the people, he asks me? I HAVEN'T PLAYED IN SEVEN ****ING YEARS. Let alone coached anyone.

Make them run and then have a scrimmage. That'll tire them out.

Yup, line drills. Then when your Uncle gets back they'll hate you, and him, by proxy. He wont ask again!

Then the next day, childrens rights activists are knocking at my door.

Though it has been 7 years, I have to remember something. Right? Right..? Should make it a bit easier since the practices are held indoors during the winter.

I'm gonna have to get a burqa or something. Or hope that they're too young to recognize me.
