I should point out that when I posted those tweets, it was because Jason did too.
But I too believe Manning is done in Indianapolis. I read the article they speak of, and he is not happy. And that's just the coaches and such. That's not Reggie Wayne, and possible others.
Any chance that last part can be re-phrased or if someone can explain to me what he is saying with regards to coaches and Reggie? I'm not quite getting it.
I can't see the Colts keeping Manning around for just one season, between his salary and the roster bonus they'd pay him like 46 million. That's ridiculous money for one season, even if he is healthy.
Irsay chastises Manning for not keeping it in house. Yet, Rob Lowe is tweeting from someone who is supposedly not Jim Irsay that Manning is going to retire.

Yeah there is no way Peyton is with the Colts next year. Quite frankly, that organization doesn't deserve to have Peyton with them anymore and the organization is quickly turning into a dumpster fire.
Where does he go?
- Miami
- Houston
- Kansas City
- Washington
- Seattle
Darkhorse:
- New York Jets?
- Baltimore?
- Chicago? (they would be a SB contender if they had a real QB)
I don't think BAL/NYJ happens at all, but you never know.

See, I could be way off but NYJ was the first team I thought of. Big market, likes to make a big splash and they are one of those "just a QB short of a contender" type teams. Closer than the others in your list, anyway. They did it w/ Favre after all.
It's also where Manning wants to go, so some of these teams like Washington have probably no shot. Manning doesn't need the money. He just wants to win. Have to think teams that are more than a "QB away" are out of the picture. IMO, Miami makes the most sense. He can transform that team into a playoff team if he's healthy.
Andy Reid spoke to the Sixers about the Super Bowl, and to Cleveland media about Chilly/Shurmur/et al, but he has still not done his end-of-year press conference in Philadelphia.

what would he seriously say that would be insightful, it would just be alot of him coughing and saying he has to do a better job .
Lions running back Jahvid Best last played football on October 16, 2011. Some within the organization reportedly fear that will be the last time he ever plays.
Best has a history of concussions. And while some teams had him completely off the draft board in 2010, the Lions traded back into the bottom of round one to get him. It was a calculated risk, with a definite potential reward.
