Eli is a warrior.
Team of destiny. Did a lot of things right but teams get breaks on runs, too. No doubt about it.
Eli has not been hit that hard in a looooong time. Guy kept plugging away. He has been sensational all year and reached a new level this postseason. Top 5 QB. No doubt about it. What a performance from Cruz. What a play by Manning and Manningham on that touchdown.
The defense was unbelievable. Botched the first Davis TD and Phillips expected Webster help on 2nd but this defense has
really turned it on last six weeks.
When the Giants make a run, they make it count!

Eli is going to shred that Pats secondary on the fast turf.

I feel dumb.
Me, too.
But it's good to be dumb, sometimes, Fitzy.

Giants MUST punish their receivers or knock them out.
Curious if Gronk can even play. Any word on his injury?

Absolutely but who is going to cover Cruz, Nicks and Manningham? Edelman?
Each team provides match-up problems and have come considerable distance since the regular season game.

This game against the Pats kinda reminds me of their game against the Packers, with the big Tight End, and the depth at receiver.
The Giants CAN do it, but they have to get to Brady, who didn't look good today.

Hope Gronk is out, the Pats defense is beatable and if Gronk is out their offense is seriously weakened.

Sources tell #WBZ that Gronk's left ankle will be "fine" for Super Bowl. Says a lot that he came back in. Wearing boot begins treatment...
Sweep the leg.....

If Brady plays like he did today, our secondary will have no issues picking him off. Unfortunately, I think he will bounce back from today's game.
I hope our O line picks it up a bit, though. And Gilbride needs to stop holding the offense back with his crappy playcalling.

How many of you giants fans or anybody rooting for the giants would trade Brady winning another ring for the Rangers winning the cup?

I'm not worried about Gronk at all.
Look at the TE's the Giants have played against and still won.
Whitten
Gonzales
Finley
Davis
Those are 4 of the 5 best TE's in the NFC IMO. No matter what Gronk can do on one leg or two, the Giants will be prepared for it.
The last time they played the Pats, they smacked Brady around. The offense moved the ball without Nicks and Bradshaw playing.
Pats are in for a rude awakening.

You also forgot how last time we played the Pats we had a lot of our secondary missing and no Bradshaw or Hakeem 'the dream' Nicks.
Oh and they were at home and we still had Brady on the run. We got this...

When that friggin' loser Williams, who was absolute trash all year, stripped that ball in OT, I almost cried. Literally almost broke down...

I've seen 8 championships in my life besides the Cup. You can have all 8 of them for one Cup.
