Beatty should be fine. And I love all the B's. Once Snee goes, Petrus would slot in.

A B without the bottom!

That is one poor O-Line.

Peace out BJ. You were a great Giant while it lasted. Will miss the big guy.

Who do you guys think they get to replace him? Scott, a FA? Maybe draft a guy like Wilson from V-Tech if he's JR's BPA at 32?

I'm glad to see Jacobs go. He was a shell of himself the last few years. A soft player who was a typical bully who becomes a kitty cat once you hit him back. And he was always a risk to get a 15 yard penalty.

Real shame. I believe he still could have had a few more effective years in him, but he completely changed his running philosophy. I haven't seen him consistently run power back in a few years. Tries to get too fancy and too East-West.

I blame a LOT of that on the O-Line.

"I might be leaving, but my name will stay. The fans have been great for me. Everything has been good. A standup organization. I was very close with a lot of people in the organization. They're all a bunch of great people. The Mara family, the Tisch family, everybody's great. I just want to thank them for the opportunity that they've given me.

"But it's time to move on. We tried, couldn't reach an agreement. It's been great, though. I can't say anything negative about anybody in the organization. (Running backs coach) Jerald Ingram, hands down, probably the best coach I've ever experienced as an athlete. He knows so much about the game and I learned a lot from him as well."
Extremely classy. Will miss the big guy.

Glad it ended the way it did. Jacobs could be an arrogant loudmouth, but he was our arrogant loudmouth.

I really wish him the best in his future career.

Sad day in this generation of Giants history, most definitely.

Hope we can fix the ****ing o-line so we don't have people starting to hate Bradshaw for not being able to turn nothing into something.

Which brings up another point. Can Bradshaw still be effective? The O-Line blows and his feet are destroyed.

I would love to see RGIII spectacularly bust and watch the Skins suck for another decade.

i like rg3 as a player. its a risk but this is a qb league. skins need a qb and have a potential franchise qb to build around now. at least they have to pay a big price for a potential one though.

agreed. most would think the rams want blackmon. i imagine the rams were really hoping that the browns would pay up for that pick since then the rams would have a much better chance of getting blackmon at 4. great deal for the rams anyways.

what did we give up for eli to move from 4 to 1? was it just one extra 1st rounder and a 3rd? skins gave up 2 extra 1sts and a 2nd.

I liked Jacobs, but the fact remained that the Giants were atrocious in short yardage situations. Yeah, the o-line was nothing special, but for a big back like him, he should have never had trouble on the 3-and-shorts. Plus, he hated running up the middle.

Giants need to address TE big time. Replacing Jacobs should be easy.

As far as defense, I'm just excited to see Austin play.

Glad to see the Jets re-up Sanchez and bow out of the Manning sweepsteaks. Sanchez is going to have a big bounceback season.

As for RG3......Hes not 6'2. He's closer to 6'0, and good luck facing Ware, Babin and JPP 6 times a year.

I blame it on Jacobs not running hard to the line and running too tall. He has forward momentum and is being tackled by guys the same size or smaller than him.

He should be motivated as it was clear that the Jets aren't sold on him. He can sulk or he can overcome.

That there is the reason he was a soft player. He was never a strong up the middle runner — no matter how much the Giants wanted him to be. He was always better around the end. And you can't do that on 3rd and short.
