Jacobs is "pure class" in terms of his relationship with the organization and fans.

I don't watch Football anymore. Only with friends if I'm at their house, and they have it on.

One thing that irritates me is the Broncos wanna trade a fan favorite, and a guy who played a huge part in putting them up from out of the toilet, not to mention YOUNG Quarterback, for a guy who might not even have 2 seasons left in him?

Are you kidding me? Manning is like 36, coming off an injury, and they wanna put him on the team in Denver? Tebow has a better chance at bringing them a Super Bowl. I hope when he send him away he throws it in their face. John Elway, or whoever else is making these decisions has to go.

Tebow will actually be playing for 10 or more years, and Manning might have 2. Nice job if this goes through Denver!

I see there is a new thread. I'm posting this over there.

Not even close. Manning makes Denver the the team to beat in the AFC West this year by far and instantly makes them a legit SB contender

In the short term maybe. I don't know I just think it's a bad decision.

Isn't Tebow a huge fan favorite there? It doesn't matter, because a lot of teams will probably want Tebow.

To me that's almost like giving away Jonathan Quick or Pekka Rinne to sign someone like Nabokov, or Khabibulin.

A bad example probably, but it's the best I could think of.

If a team thinks they are one piece from a SB right now you have to make a move, even if it means possibly hurting yourself 5 years down the road.

Also don't compare Tebow to Quick or Rinne and don't compare Manning to Nabakov or Khabby.

A better comparison would be trading Bobrovsky for Brodeur. Trading a somewhat unproven young guy for arguably the best all time at the position

Like I said bad comparison couldn't think of one better.

Though Bobrovsky for Brodeur is stretching it. Bryzgalov for Brodeur might be a little better.

Not at all. Tebow hasn't in most people's eyes proven he can be a QB good enough to lead a team to a Super Bowl. Bryzgalov has put together several solid seasons in the NHL.
