Give up 4 more years of that to instead get an underperformer like Gomez? Yuck! Especially a player whose contract only lasts 2 more years after this season, which would dovetail in nicely with renewals coming up for the kids? What nonsense.
What Beerfish and Giant Moo said. It would be way to long of a post if I gave the reasons why I would be happier than a pig in ca-ca to do this deal, I couldn't get it done fast enough.

Oilers usually match up well vs. sharks + No Heatley curse - maybe a chance?

And Whitney back for Vancouver tomorrow? ... the excuse jar is emptying fast

there will always be excuses of some sort. I'm just waiting for management, coaches , vet players and apologists to stop using them.

I don't care who is or isn't on the ice. just want whoever is in the line up to play a simple, smart, hard working game.

To bad we couldnt just put Hall, Eberle and Smid out on the ice. The rest of this damn team is worthless.

I'll probably tune in for the first period then shut it off once it hits 2-0. Hope they get booed off the ice and maybe Katz can open his eyes. So fed up with this team.

I can't see the young guys staying after the ELC's are up, I know I wouldn't want to if improvement isn't shown.

Could very well be Whitney's last game of the year, maybe career. Sadly.

If that is a distinct possibility, I'm not sure why they don't just wait until after the ASG. But I suppose if they just aren't getting any better, you might as well try it now.

Well, the Sharks basically hate his guts, seeing has be single-handedly (okay, exaggeration, but not much) lost the Sharks the WCF last spring, and both Thornton and Boyle spent a good amount of time screaming at him in the locker room according to reports, maybe he requested to be sat.

Anyways, you guys have a good a chance as ever to beat us tonight. We're playing with 4 top-six forwards (you guys can sympathize) and of them only Couture has done anything recently. Also Niemi sucks. Should be an awesome goaltending battle.

Hey folks again!

Thank you, I am the Liquor, for the link on your GDT. It means a lot to me when the opposition's fans enjoy something that I did. I appreciate the generous compliments from those of you that visited our side of HF. Another thank you to dnicks for helping out with the possible lines. I always try my best to have some respectful fun, with the slightest amount of homerism (we had to be the rebels)

Hope we have a great game and my boys avoid the Wampa...er Sutton

slocal, props on the awesome gdt.

My brother offered to take me to the game tonight. Don't see much point in going to an oilers game right now. They're brutal, not worth the price of a beer.

I would not pay the fare on the LRT or the price of parking if you gave me free tickets.

No problem. I went to check out your GDT to get the Sharks current lineup and I was blown away. A work of art that is not only impressive, but hilarious too.

Well done!

I've turned down tickets this year too. When the team is this bad, the option to turn it off is more appealing than taking in the "atmosphere" live.

Don't worry, I'm sure Captain Potato can fill it back up again lickety-split.

Guess Ryan Smyth isn't a fan of lids in warmup.

Either your avatar is a reflection of your troll, or you really haven't been a Canucks bandwagoner for very long.
