Doesn't seem like we can escape bad pronunciations no matter where we go. Regardless of what stream I'm watching, there's always at least one butchered name that makes me cringe

I thought I read Halak has never beat the Wings.

Isn't the French Canadian pronunciation of Perron actually Pear-on ? I think the dude says it right according to their language.

When you've won your last 7 games, you're gonna start. He is 2-3-1 against the Wings in his career.

Pierre pronounces it correctly because he rolls the r's correctly and puts the accent in the right place. Doc just butchers it as best he can.

edit: No Doc tonight. Wooo!

I have no problem with Halak starting. I have been saying he's the #1 all along.

Probably a little off-topic, but I figured it'd be better to ask here rather than starting another thread:

Whatever happened to Jonas Junland?

Hockey's Future has him listed as a Blues prospect, but is he even apart of this team's organization?

Pietrangelo made an awesome play there – made avoiding serious pressure and that pass to spring D'Agostini look easy.

The way I see it is, how does David Perron pronounce his name? That's how it should be pronounced, regardless of your personal language.

Rather different pace than Saturday's horse race.

The Blues lost his rights.

If this game stays at this high of a pace, we may be in trouble.

This is going to be an opportunistic, momentum game.

None of which were his fault. He played well in both games. Also in net for both wins against Detroit.
