Pathetic again. Tolerance for our offense is at an all-time low, but my love for Quick couldn't be higher. That Hextall slash made my night. Onto the next game... Time for me to get drunk.

okay, I think this is one of the tipping points where DL has to do something. If Stoll and Penner refuse to produce, trade them. No partners? Waive them and trade for someone who can take their spot.
Enough is enough. We virtually have no second line while spending a fifth of our cap to it. Other GMs have the balls to send people down to send a message and to give them the room to acquire the talent to do something.
The players are just too comfy at subpar performances.
And damn striaght with Quick slashing the hell out of somebody. At least he has the emotions to care about the game, which is more than the other people on the team.

I feel bad for fans going to the games... They're just brutal to watch and the Kings are more likely to lose than win at home (home record 13-11-4).
Many people seem to advocate a shakeup. They had their shakeup when Murray got fired. It only lasted a couple of weeks, now they're settling in and getting comfortable playing like they don't give a **** once again. Until these guys figure out that they need to bring it every game for 60 minutes they're going nowhere.
Can't believe Lombardi thought Murray 2.0 would change anything substantial. Especially with the same assistants that haven't had the kings above 25th on offense in 2 years. Time for Kompon and Stevens to go and let Sutter take the reigns.
I figured the kings would play this poorly tonight. Playing at home against a backup and a team out of the playoffs. I'm sure the Kings will be back to their OT ways against Ottawa.

God I'm so frustrated.
u know, it all just might come down to Lombardi sending a message. Firing a coach is step 1, but it has to hit harder. Look at the ducks, fired the coach, that didn't work. Then Murray said, I"m fed up with this crap, I'm looking for trades, and bam, they snap into place.
I just am not convinced that the players care about their jobs. They move like they're in a damn union job where they could care less about what happens because they know they won't get fired. Penner and Stoll have underperformed for so damn long and nothing has happened to them, it sends a message that it's alright to suck. Well, I'm getting tired of this crap.
All we do is lose lose lose no matter what,
Got losing on our minds, clearly can never get enough,
And every time we step up on the ice,
The other teams score goes up....
And it stays there, and they say "YEAH!", and it stays there,
Up, down, up, down,
Cause all we do is lose, lose, lose
And every time we go on the ice, the other teams score goes up, and it stays there.

We just don't have enough guys that can bury it, Stoll never seems to hit the net, Penner seems to be too slow to keep up with the play. Even Mike Richards can't prop both these guys up. If only Lewis or Richardson had a bit more finish. We seem to be down to 1st one scoring line, 2nd an invisible line, 3rd a busy line that can't finish and 4th a basher line. We miss Gagne and we need Doughty to step up.
With regard to the offense, enough is enough. Enough was enough a long time ago. I don't expect anything to happen on that front even though it should. This was one of the worst sports days for me of the last few years. Not a happy camper tonight
