This is why I can't feel too bad for them. I also seem to remember a goal on Ottawa's ice that should have been credited to the Kings

Yep, Kings got screwed in Ottawa last year from going to OT by a terrible call. So, I don't feel bad about that PS at all.

Wish it was a legit call. It would've been like the Luis Suarez hand ball. Live in the Now knows that. Hehehe.

Exactly. We're even for last year. I don't feel bad for them one bit.

It's about time this team had some luck.

In the world of reffing it all evens out eventually. That's why I rarely get upset about it.

But seriously how bout Lewis with the slick PS move? Who knew the kid had hands?

Well when the guy goes on every thread and complains and whines about the Kings being boring, and not fighting enough can't expect people to act kindly towards it....

The refs are blowing this game.

Maybe this is a makeup for the horrible calls in previous Ottawa/LA games. (Remember Smyth's tip-in for the game winner that was below the crossbar, yet they disallowed it?)

Bullying? Give me a break. Just wanted to prove that being so negative about this team before the game even started is ridiculous.

I was ready to scream when I saw Lewis, but he is really starting to turn into a good player. He just needed to play a different game. He was forced into the defense + penalty kill roll. Kid is starting to develop a nice set of hands.

You should post that in that main board thread. That was a hard game to watch.

Unfortunately San Jose got a point tonight. So they'll be tied again. Sort of.

You're absolutely right of course. They did have a lot of legit penalties, so they've already shot themselves in the foot.

Sure, it happens all the time... I just don't like blatantly bad calls, on us or on them. In this case, it puts us that much more over the top, and it really hurts the mentality of their players. Yes, that's good for us, but still... it should be us putting it in without this horrible of a call.

I dunno. I mean, good for us. And of course I'll take it.

My bad. Game tying goal.

Anyway, notice Tim Peel (referee #20) handling referee duties for both that game and this one.
