Do players who sign an NHL deal then are sent back to Juniors get paid?

Was curious if they receive any sort of paycheck after being sent back down.

Well they usually get the signing bonus, other than that i'm pretty sure there's nothing else they get unless the player is getting his 9 games in, or is sent halfway through the season.

Not sure, but i think they get signing bonus worth 10% of the contracts cap hit.

I think they would get some sort of payment especially if they sign a contract.

They get their signing bonus. They do not start receiving their salary till they turn pro.

So for instance the Jets just signed Kosmaschuk to an ELC. He is in Guelph and will not get the salary part till he turns pro but he will pick up 92K this year and for the next 2 years signing that deal whether he plays pro or not.
