I hope you aren't rooting against the Avs tomorrow because Giguere is starting. I'd rather have Varlamov start tomorrow, but that doesn't mean I'm hoping Giguere stinks it up. That's just ridiculous.

If you'd just put him on ignore, then you wouldn't have to read his ridiculous drivel...

Though you're right, obvious troll is a troll...and I'm not sure how he hasn't been handed warnings/infractions by our Mods...we have good Mods, and surely they see this?

Then why did you quote me and call it trolling? For your health?

Just shut the **** up. All of you are children.

Kind of hope both goalies have career ending injuries so you can all go to hell.

For the record, I do NOT believe Giguere deserves this start, but I will be pulling for him to succeed and thus further hammer down what appears to be his new No. 1 job.

I could care less who's in net as long as we get the win, hell throw Hunwick out there in goal and if we win, it's all good. I don't get why people want one goalie to do better than the other, it's a team we're supporting. My only worry during this stretch of Giggy playing is the confidence of Varlamov, he needs a bounce back game now, get him going again.

Honestly nobody really cares. That is, except RECsGUY as he would prefer the team lose anytime Giguere is not in net and only wants a win for the fact that it's a win for Giguere when he's playing, not because it has any meaning to the team's standing.

Everyone else for the most part is happy either way, other than getting snarky because they're sick of listening to this dullard go on and on about Giguere. Comes to a point where you'd prefer Giguere was suddenly abducted by aliens just so we can have some peace and quiet.

People who cheer only for specific players and not teams in general are the worst kind of sports fans.

Alright guys, I'm absolutely sick of this.

1) Recsguy: If you can't coexist with the members of this board, and if your only contribution is to thump your chest and pester other posters with your opinion that Giguere is the greatest thing sinced sliced cheese...go away. From now on, if I see that all you are doing is the above chest thumping nonsense, I will ban you from that thread.

2) To the rest of you: Do not reply to a poster if they bother you. I have no idea why so many of you insist on replying to posters that you constantly fight with. There is an ignore function for a reason.

3) I'm pretty tired of having to clean up the mess that threads become when petty arguments ruin a completely viable conversation. Up to this point I think I've been very lenient, deleting or editing posts so that they are no longer targetting posters, and I haven't handed out any warnings. This will change.

Seriously people, I understand constructive criticism and the occassional argument as opinions don't always coincide. However, there are an increasing amount of personal attacks, with some posters even bringing up banned or posters they personally dislike in posts that have nothing to do with them. I really enjoy posting here, and I'm sure the majority of you do too (which is why I assume the posting has not ceased), but I think we owe it to ourselves to make this place inviting and not a warzone. I think, in general, we (as a board) are friendly folk, we just need to focus on that and not on these little bicker-wars.

Buttercup isn't a fighter, so I doubt he'll go with the Highlander.

Excellent. One less thing to watch so I can focus on the Avs.

A little surprised Jiggy gets the start again, but it's not a horrible decision either. Who ever gives the Avs the best opportunity to win should get the start, regardless. I just don't want Jiggy getting too many starts and getting worn down in the process.

It's a divisional game, and we've sucked at those all season long. Here's hoping the trend starts to end!

Haha, true story.

I've realized that because press coverage of all events is so darn good now, I can easily find 5-minute rap video remixed versions of the talk tomorrow morning

Agreed. I'd really start to like winning divisional games instead of dreading them. Been a problem with this team for a few years now. We know we're better than Minnesota, Edmonton, and Calgary, so let's make it a routine thing to win out over them.
