I saw a guy that was the spitting image of Kevin Porter at Stockholm Central Station last week. He was standing around not doing much, which I guess added to the Kevin Porter likeness.

Won't be here for the game tonight ladies and gents, I'll be at the Flames/Sharks game loudly booing the Flames and being a complete and utter jerk. It's my duty as an Avs fan to defame all other teams fans

So...you're effectively saying that tonight the "inmates are running the asylum?"

From now on, if I see that all you are doing is the above chest thumping nonsense, I will ban you from that thread.

2) To the rest of you: Do not reply to a poster if they bother you. I have no idea why so many of you insist on replying to posters that you constantly fight with. There is an ignore function for a reason.

3) I'm pretty tired of having to clean up the mess that threads become when petty arguments ruin a completely viable conversation. Up to this point I think I've been very lenient, deleting or editing posts so that they are no longer targetting posters, and I haven't handed out any warnings. This will change.

Seriously people, I understand constructive criticism and the occassional argument as opinions don't always coincide. However, there are an increasing amount of personal attacks, with some posters even bringing up banned or posters they personally dislike in posts that have nothing to do with them. I really enjoy posting here, and I'm sure the majority of you do too (which is why I assume the posting has not ceased), but I think we owe it to ourselves to make this place inviting and not a warzone. I think, in general, we (as a board) are friendly folk, we just need to focus on that and not on these little bicker-wars.

Sending some some mod love. Ignoring annoying posters makes everyones lives easier, including the mods. When trolling derails threads both the troller and the... erm.. trollee are at fault for escalating. Ignore function rocks

Precisely what I've been trying to say for weeks now. WHY do some people on this board insist on replying to his baiting remarks!? Hit the ****ing ignore button and move on. The only thing more annoying than RECs himself is seeing his stupid posts show up in the rest of y'alls quotes. Quit fueling the fire already, it makes you every bit as foolish, if not moreso, than the troll you're trying in vain to argue with.

Anyhow, Elliott's a healthy scratch. Strange...I thought he was playing well of late...?

This is going to be a boring game.

Funny you should say that I was at Safeway the other day and this ginger accidently hit this old lady from behind slamming her right into the frozen food. He got up dumbfounded and didnt think anything was wrong.

Elliott a healthy scratch tonight. Wonder if he'll get sent back to LEM.

I never feel a dominant win coming up with this team. Even when we do beat them decisively the hockey gods have to do something to **** it up for us (i.e., Stewart breaking his hand on Brodziak's thick skull).

It's a divisional game, and we've sucked at those all season long. Here's hoping the trend starts to end!
Honestly the only reason to question Giguere starting, is the previous expectation that Varly was the #1.
Giguere's winning percentage, save percentage, and GAA in addition to the fact there is a 7 day break after, would make it a no-brainer. Plus he didn't face all that many shots or pressure in the last game so he really shouldn't be tired.
You play the goalie who gives you the best chance to win.

As for the b2b, I think the only reason Jiggy got the start is it was Anaheim. Any other opponant and I'm certain Varly would have played.
