Enough is enough. This team thinks it can ignore its fan base. Well, let's make a statement.
Not some random bags on heads. Not some scattered signs in the Arena which are quickly confiscated. Let's give them a PR problem they can't ignore.
This weekend is All Star weekend. Not a single Jacket will be playing hockey. There are no Buckeye football games. The basketball team plays Sunday.
Which means that this Saturday there will be nothing of consequence for the local sportswriters to cover. Well, let's give them something to cover--a protest outside Nationwide Arena demanding the ouster of Scott Howson and Mike Priest.
They want to ignore us, fine. Let's make it so they can't ignore us.
I, or others can inform Aaron Portzline about this and he will publish it, but only if it's a serious thing... he will not mention it if it's a scam... he needs creditability.
AP will not stick his neck out based on a random HF board thread.. he has media standards to adhere too. That said I think he would support us if this thing is valid.
We need a focus to attack...as in, ownership, GM etc.
I also would like to see Cougar, Pluck, Leek, Sam, DSL, Wooten, Brass and all of the other CBJ board regulars.... (I missed many but you know my thought).

No doubt for me. Whats going to be going on there? Are we going to hang outside Nationwide with signs and start chants?

Buca is prolly open and I love that place but truth be told the R Bar should get into this... The R Bar is the proclaimed best hockey bar in Ohio! Lets see what they can do to help us. If the R Bar drops the ball Captain and I will contact Buca...
Yes; signs, hats etc but bodies is the goal..... hell, I will pony up a beer for most until the cash runs out...
I'd drop anything that associates this with the "occupy" clown show, particularly due to them having something of their own going down this week..
Noted, in our case Captain simply used the "term of the day" and probably had no clue that the political "occupy" was even in Columbus at that time....
this will be a solid early bday gift for me (my bday being sunday) if we manage to get a respectable amount of people.. I will mention it to anyone and everyone I know. being an osu student and a former high school player in central ohio who now plays adult league, coaches, and dates an osu ladies player, hopefully that is good for 5 or 6.
