Ducks are playing pretty well now. Solid last night against the surging Avalanche so why would Anaheim want to do that?

(Coaching?, I mean seriously, could it be the result of new coaching???)

This is what I see:

"I know this season has been difficult Sabres fans, but be patient, be steadfast!"

this thread has like 10 posts a few minutes ago, wow.

I know were trying to guess what the announcement will be but I still don't think there will be one at all, we'll see though.

Plus the owner wouldn't be setting up an announcement in the next few days for a trade. They would trade then talk to the press.

I have observed that posters on this Board have a very low tolerance towards unattributed rumors. I'm not beating up on the post originator because he warned up front that the source is tenuous.

But I wonder if we are so desperate at this point for change that we're ready to blow pass our standards and grab any straw that's floating by?

Press Release:

After months of tough negotiations, the Sabres are pleased to announce that Terry Pegula has purchased Lord Stanley's Cup and all rights to the name "Stanley Cup" for an undisclosed sum. The Cup will be on permanent display in the Sabres Hall of Fame at the FN Center. Why not? George Steinbrenner bought all his championships.

I gotta say that to much of our dismay I just don't see a coaching change coming. It seems like a trade is much more likely.

Press Release:

(Buffalo, NY) - AP

The owner of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres, Terrence Pegula, has announced that in light of the team's dismal record---and with the season spiraling out of control, it is in the best interest of the Sabres fans and the Sabres organization, that they part ways with longtime anthem singer Doug Allen.

According to Mr. Pegula: "We found that Mr. Allens cheezy pointing at the conclusion of the anthem, was demoralizing to both the team and it's fans. We thank Mr. Allen for his years of service, but suggest he leave the schtick to circus clowns".

Mr. Allen had no comment.

Another team will snatch him up quickly.

frankly this would be devastating lol, especially as everyone at the local bar has taken to point right back at him at the conclusion of the anthem.

OT but sometimes the weirdos that do the anthem at away games make mr. allen look and sound like frank sinatra

I wonder how much it would help if Enroth AND Miller started in goal together.

Miller: "I though you had it?"

Enroth: "I thought YOU had it?"
