^ I'm guessing that's the plan around the whole embrace the hate thing that Kane is doing.

Cena is going to be the killer heel by the time the Rock rolls around.

As Soon as he turns heel fans will cheer him, accept against the Rock. As soon as Wrestlemania is over Cena will become wwe's baby face again

He's going to be a good guy. They're just teasing us the heel turn. They'll never actually do it.

Good raw. My only complaint is Ryder being involved with cent and Kane. Let Ryder have fun and joke around. Get him away from this ********.
The more I think about it, the more I actually like Ziggler running in at the end to ruin all the fun. It brings the viewer back to the beginning of the show, when Ziggler warned Punk that he shouldn't be worrying about John, he should be worrying about him (Ziggler). Great foreshadowing.

Yep, and with Punk/Ace being the focal point of the show Ziggler became an afterthought and he came back to remind us just how dangerous he is.

Good point. It also draws the audiences attention back to the match itself. They did such a good job building heat between Ace and Punk that I myself started to forget about Ziggler (and I'm a huge Ziggler fan). Having Ziggler jump in quickly at the end puts the focus back on the 2 guys competing. It was excellent writing imo.

The only real downside to Raw for me, like many said, Ryder/Kane/Cena. that was rough. Glad I was watching on youtube to speed through that ridiculously long segment.

Very excited for the RR. The fact Jericho might win has me ready to mark out.

Flying back from LA to east coast Sunday night, will need to catch a replay of the PPV. i can't wait to get in at midnight and sit down and watch it from the start!

I highly doubt Triple H is just playing the role of evaluating Laurinaitus. I thought about today how it'd be if Jericho went after 'Taker's streak after winning the Rumble and they had a Triple H heel turn next week in a swerve to end the show. Say he looks at John Laurinaitus like he'll fire him, until he turns around and smirks at CM Punk, low blows him and gives him a pedigree on the WWE Championship. The heat would be tremendous.

I mean, the whole Punk/Laurinaitus thing is getting exciting now with what happened last night on Raw, but I just think that the perfect end to what started in June would be a Triple H vs. CM Punk WWE Championship at WrestleMania. That's just my personal opinion though. There are a ton of ways WWE can take this to make it exciting now and lead to something big at WrestleMania.

That sounds excellent, but you just know HHH would go over clean on Punk...and it would end up sucking

Eh, I think in a WrestleMania environment with a No DQ, No Countout stipulation and outside interference from John Laurinaitus on Triple H's behalf, CM Punk would still go over and that'd be the moment that CM Punk REALLY rises to the top and is just on par with John Cena in terms of value to the WWE, IMO.

I don't think it happens, but I really hope so. Something is up with Triple H appearing next week though.

I've been here a little bit. Pens board, Wrestling board, and Trade board. Safe to say that the wrestling board and Pens board are always nice and relaxed. My two favorites.

Ha, Pens board relaxed.

I've never seen such an uppity group of "us against the world" fans in my life.

Yeah.. when HHH went over in their one match a few months ago, it was ****ing ridiculous. Why in the world would he need a win when Punk was the hottest thing coming during the summer.

I would not want to see it.

Ryder must have a legit injury

in a matter of 1 week, he lost his US title (in a squash match) and then was squashed by Kane and given a pretty serious injury

Don't want to stray OT, but you should see HF Oilers. It's divided into camps of apologists and critics of the club's rebuilding process. I rarely post because there's too much fighting in that community after losses.

He has a movie coming out that he has to shoot, so he'll blow off Wrestlemania.

Meh, as long as Austin shows up out of no where and gives someone a Stunner my nostalgia needs will be satisfied.

I thought they should've checked Laurinitis for a pulse. His facial expression never changed during that GTS. That was a little creepy, if you ask me.
