When Ovi and Nicky come back, I wanna see this:

Ovi-MP-Semin
MJ-Nicky-Knuble/Brouwer

Seriously, MP is pretty crafty with the puck. He's got decent vision and he can score. Might be a good match with Ovi and Semin.

Winning the Stanley cup has its benefits I guess. Bruins got twice as many posts as us.

Also they aren't used to fair play by play of Joe B.

Oh yeah, they don't understand the idea of a lucky bounce of the puck towards Marchand hahahaha, wtf?

Seriously Carlson's decision making has been bad for awhile now.

18 shots through 2 periods is encouraging

I am surprised it took as long as it did to get in a try as a scoring C with Nick out. Its his role in life. With our lame duck depth, he is a hold unless we get a scoring C back.

I have thought the nuNHL would actually suit him well. He just seems to take a break after showing his offensive flash, or has poor conditioning, something gives. But he takes his fare share of hits and may just be sore.

I will never stop saying he should have played in Montreal in game 6. Our 2nd line was laughable the entire series. He did not get one game despite being mr. instant offense all year.

Teams play so incredibly aggressive against us, understandably so. Two or three guys forechecking at all times when we have the puck in our zone. It's like they never line change, or if they do we are so slow to get it out that they can set up again. We lose most puck battles and I don't think it's for lack of size or speed on the back end. Maybe we are a year or two away from these guys being formidable. Mas for Carlson, sophomore slump. He'll come around.

The Bruins were fairly passive in the 1st. They're picking and choosing when to be aggressive. Kind of like what we do.

Nice... Now, can you give us the game winner?

Knuble needs to find the net... he is a vet so he gets a very very long leash around here, but at some point the man needs to contribute, and not just in the locker room...
Laich is as useful as the **** on a bullfrog.

edit: forgot about Hendy... the guy is a Warrior.

He sure was. He is another one of those you want on your team but loathe to play against. Curt Fraser was another.

I can count on one finger how many times I saw us exit the zone without a couple Bruins pressuring the puck in that second period.

There is a name from the past.

Along the irritant centers line, Kevin McClelland

I don't like the scoring potential of line 2. I'd much rather split up MJ and Nicky to get those crafty passing and set ups.

Ovi - MJ/MP - MJ/MP
Semin - Nicky - Browuer/Knubes

Is what I'd rather see. Spread out some scoring talent and play set up.

"Carlson has to be stronger on the puck."

Recurring theme.

Of course we get called but no interference call on the Orlov hit behind the goal. Typical, NHL typical.
