please some intensity and emotion tonight!

I hope we play two lines and four defensemen all night. That's right, REESE over Jurcina.

Reese has been good. Jurcina has been a TO machine. Reese has been playing better than AMac IMO too. AMac has not had a good year.

For Frans to step up, we need to go to a shootout.

I don't know if anyone noticed it last night, but on the 3rd goal that Lombardi scored, you see PA joining the zone late trying to get to Lombardi. They showed a replay from behind the Islanders net and as the puck comes up the ice, you can see PA following the play, walking speed. It's not until near the end of the play, that you see PA actually excellerate.

I point this out, because it's a complete embarrassment. PA should have been back for that play. I don't know what he was thinking, but his effort was ********, and I would bench him for that alone.

Rarely if ever, have I questioned PA's hustle, but last night pissed me off. I know the game was probaby over by then anyway, but that's never an excuse to give up or stop trying!!!

Check out this video at the 3:25 mark. Look in the upper right corner and you'll see PA hanging out. What the hell is he doing?

I would have started Nabby again. Too important of a game to start a goalie who hasn't played in a month. Going to be rusty.

If they do make a playoff run, every game is equally important. They have to start Montoya sooner or later. Since this is back to back and Nabby has played quite a bit, I think this game is as good as any to start Montoya.

With how long Montoya has been out I guess the Islanders are giving up another goal on the first shot tonight?!??!
Seriously, Montoya was playing real well before he was hurt so hopefully he picks it right back up again.
Need to get off to a good start tonight, get a win and get it rolling again!!

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. Nabby has played a lot and needs a break , but what is one more game and one more day for Monty to sit. He is going to sit for a few days Nyah after his game.

staple also said that the leafs first goal should never have occured.. they were offsides by a wide margin, and it was none other than the goal scorer who was the offsides party... the isles coaches saw that play on video and immediately saw it was offsides..

and considering how the leafs got away with every penalty last night, that "missed" offsides is no coincidence...

Doesn't matter. We would've lost either way.

We're wearing white at home after the Leafs wore white at home last night. Love it.

Thanks for the ch 460 hook-up, I found the game on channel 79 and the dog-turd quality almost made me go nuclear
