Amazingly we actually have some grinders that are hungry instead of tweeners like Shannon, Tyrell and Pyatt on the lower lines.

Which probably explains the ice time disparity. LOL

After this game, it may well be the Norfolk Admirals 4 the NHL 0.

Did Yzerman send down the wrong half during training camp this year?

Because they wanted to pick the best guys, and not the right guys.

These AHLers are riding a high right now, it may take some of them a few games to really start showing how good they are.

They also benefit because they've played together in Norfolk in top-six roles.

It will be interesting to see how the ice time shakes out tonight with Oberg as the 7th defenseman and little ice time to Tampa Bay Admirals, and Connolly.

Team defense. Need more speed though. Which is why they're AHL guys at 25-26, can't sustain the level of play.

Oberg has 1:21 through two periods. Two shifts in the first, one in the second.

What's the point of this?

Sometimes its Hard Work>>>>Talent.

These kids want it, and they are playing as such. Right now, I'm to the point of let the injured players get some more time in the press box. I'm much more interested in Keeping the admirals up.

I know it's early, but if we're going to make the playoffs we need to go about 23-11 to finish off the season, and that only gets us to 92 pts. Why would we get hot to finish in 10th or 11th in the conference? It's fun to watch now, but I would love to lose and draft a guy like Murray/Trouba/Ceci/Dumba etc.

Is this what you've been using? Streams 1 and 2 don't seem to be working for me despite refreshing it. Thanks anyways, I'll keep trying and hopefully it works.

I don't really think this game should be framed the way it's been by SunSports.

Trevor Smith is the only recent call-up that's getting significant time. About 10 minutes through the first two periods.

Oberg 1:21
Angelidis 2:36
Labrie 3:59

and Connolly is only at 4:19

Last year was lots of fun, best time I've had watching this team in 7 years, but it just doesn't make any sense to try and make the playoffs this year.

Bone head play by clark there, he should have just taken the hit and done a puck battle on the boards. Instead like a moron he dumps it blindly and it goes right towards Johanssan.

We can try again next year, after we're done trying this year.
