I remain optimistic, considering we could beat them twice in a row last year when we were in 30th.

Refused to watch the game yesterday after the HNIC debacle. And, of course, they won.
And, of course, that's enough to sucker me into watching them play tonight. Second half of a back-to-back. With one top four defenceman. Against Vancouver.

Until now I hadn't heard and hadn't given it a moments thought.
Thats about as much as its required of a GDT for this one. More like:
Game on. Parental content advisory about violence and disturbing and graphic images. News at 11.

Im going to the game. I havent seen the Oilers win in Vcr in ages. I think the last time was in 05-06 when Smyth scored in the SO and it took ages to review.

If ever I need them to win its against Vancouver. Me and a buddy make a bet before every season, on every game they play each other through the year. Go Oilers!

Best bet is to make them before midnight, or during this part of the season before noon

No one really wants to make GDTs anymore and who can blame them? I'm sure you can just make one for the next game. There's a stickied template if you feel like putting effort into it.

I am pretty sure we lost that shootout.

We had Omark the great in the lineup for those games though.

This
Three games in four nights, last two back to back against a division rival! The NHL wants us in the lottery again.

If this was the game immediately after the catastrophe against Calgary, we'd have a shot of winning in the same vane as how we won't against SJ (half decent performance coupled with opposition hoping/expecting an easy one).
But Renney has spent the rebound game, and the players will immediately begin cutting corners again. Vancouver being somewhat of rivals are also a lot less likely to sleep through it.
4-0 Vancouver. Offense continues to be an issue.

Best of luck tonight, guys. I hope the Canucks aren't as over-confident as some of my cohorts.
The Admiral Ackbar YT reminded me of this.

Their goal in those games was simply to not get injured.

At least we'll be getting Whitney back. As nice as that will be, we'll still need anther 40+ save performance in net to have any hope of winning.
Also, if we can have another game where we only take 2 penalties, that'll be good too.

This really doesn't matter unless he received two new legs for Christmas.

Me too. God a win would be nice for a change, it would make listening to the idiots in the crowd at least somewhat bearable.
