I'd trade Myers for a number one center easily.

McDonagh wasn't developing the way we wanted when we traded him. He certainly wasn't in the NHL playing 25 minutes a night that we had no replacement for.

Not for Sale unless we get a big star centerman coming back. And I don't see that happening. Any Gm that trades a young, Mobile, offensive, physical number 1 defenseman for anything short of a spectacular return should be fired. Unfortunately I think we just might have the Gm that would trade him for a less than stellar package.

He was 19 when he was traded for Gomez, far too soon to judge anything about a player.

He is not likely to be moved any time soon. And while he has had somewhat of a sophomore jinx, his value has not reclined all that much. Only way the Habs do trade him is part of a package that would land a top line talent, specifically at centre.

Subban's value is currently at a low point and teams would not be willing to take too much of a risk on him. With that being said, Montreal will not be giving him up for anything less than a significant package. Therefore, he is not being traded.

As a Habs fan, lets build our future D around; Subban, Gorges, Tinordi, Beaulieu.

I'd love Subban on the Bruins. I can't think of a good offer, and I'm sure it won't happen but I'd love it. For fun:

Krejci
for
Subban

**Please note Boston & Mtl fans: this is for fun/value purposes only, not something I would advocate.

Marchand for Subban

I think both cities would riot.

I'ts a good offer, but you've watched Montreal play. The biggest need up front is a BIG tough (as in can take punishment, protect the puck, maybe dish out a few hits and grind grin grind) centreman who can score.

If Subban were ever traded it would be in a deal to land that type....and no, Hulk Hogan....Lecavalier isn't that guy for us

Marchand for Subban would be hilarious. Both teams probably pass.

Montreal does need a big center and that ain't Krejci, for sure.

I think Montreal doesn't trade PK at all. If they do I think they're gonna lose in the deal.

look at that. I knew a Bruins fan would understand the need for some pure a-hole on a team. But once Subban starts fighting a little more then people would **** about his attitude. It all comes with age. And this year will make him a better player sooner...guaranteed. Darn Francois Gagnon and his french first cohorts. If the team were winning it wouldn't be an issue at all. Heck they made a little cut on Price's foot a front page story for TWO DAYS

That's why MTL needs a GM like Pierre Gauthier, if he gets replaced in the summer, a GM that doesn't give a damn about what the media says.

Would love for the Islanders to get him! Something centered around our first round pick?

I honestly think Columbus makes a very good trading partner if Carter is available. Maybe Edmonton for one of their young forwards? Just spit-balling.

I quite honestly have never seen a hockey player have everything he does blown way out of proportion by people in the way Subban has. I guess people want him to start acting like a good ole Canadian boy like Iginla and not like a black American athlete. He's just too 'black' for the hockey establishment. The good ole boys just won't be happy until he loses his smile.
agree with your post, but Subban is Canadian, not American. And I don't know if it is entirely race related, or just the way the hockey culture is. Young players should not have personality.
