Which Admiral do you think should stay with the Lightning?

Assuming Shannon, Malone, Pyatt all return healthy, who would you like to see stay on the team. Each of the Norfolk call ups have made an impact and have been a good breath of air. Who would you pick?

Toss up between Smith and Wyman, but since Wyman hurt his pinky I chose Smith.

Yeah. Anyone of these guys could be the 12th forward until Hall returns. When Wyman was healthy he was real good with Vinny and Moore, and then Labrie and Smith showed up, and now Angelidis who was one of the black aces for us last season had a good first game.

Wyman.

Can always just call up Labrie for games in which we might need him. (Bruins, Rangers, Pens, Leafs, Caps..etc.)

All of the above. I chose Smith because he's always in the right spot trying to make plays. I'd have picked Wyman but he might not come back the same, but hopefully he does. Really Smith and Labrie together look good because they have chemistry. Angelidis will get sent back down but through no fault of his own. Oberg is just Oberg.

Tough one! Probably Wyman but he's still hurt. I really like Labrie and what he brings to the table. But Smith hasn't looked bad either.

I went with Wyman because it felt like Jones got traded because of him.

Voted for Smith because of the sweet sauce to MSL.

A case can be made for all of them. Need to see more of Angelidis though before he can really be included in the poll imo. Labrie looks like a ****ing blast to have in the locker room. Big french clown lookin' mofo you can't help but like. LOL.

Hopefully Wyman / Smith make Shannon show the **** up when he comes back from injury. The guy has the tools to be a really good player for us. It's just that he doesn't do the puck retrieval nearly as well as both of them and he's not nearly as sound defensively.

All I know is Mikkelson is fast making either Gervais or Clark (please be Gervais) obsolete.

Wyman really did allow us to pick up Mikkelson in trade for Jones. That's a huge plus for Wyman. He's also incredibly fast and seemed to work well in the puck retriever mode for Vinny and MSL. I think all of this AHL blood has had the effect of making Purcell work finally. You can see it in almost everything he does now. He's confident and moving his feet. Hope to hell "Complacent" Teddy doesn't ever come back to town.

Nacho!

In all honesty I'm torn between PCL, Wyman, and Smith. Can we trade Shannon and sneak Connolly down to the AHL so we can keep all 3?

Plus Tyrell is done for the season so I'm unsure if that opens a spot up or not.

Smith, Wyman, Labrie in that order.

I like Labrie but lord knows we need bottom line production right now and the first two do a slightly better job of that.

I would say Smith is the best hockey player out of them.

You're both probably right (Smith being the better player). But I have a feeling Wyman was called up before him for a reason. They probably want Smith to finish the season in Norfolk.

It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out as the writing is on the wall for Shannon and Tyrell being injured. But we can all see the importance of secondary scoring from the grinders the last few games.

Wyman wins by default. Everyone else on the poll reassigned to Norfolk.

Impressed with the kids though. Now let them get Norfolk deep in the playoffs.

I love how well the Norfolk kids have been playing too, but how much of that is attributed to being in the moment? I'd like to see them all get a shot at the grind of the NHL, and it's easy to call them up and see them flying around on the NHL-high.

This was a tough one...I definitely agree with the Smith, Wyman, PCL order, but I would go even further to say that they're all 1-a 1-b 1-c...In that if one were stay over the others I wouldn't be too upset...
