The team will throw off today's early game loss and rally around Turris and try to get him the victory in today's late game. Lots of motivation to finish off the road trip playing like...dare I say it...All-Stars! Go Sens, time to relax after the game. To quote Tim Thomas' hero, "Yes We Can".
Are O'rouke and Peel deciding this game again? If so I won't bother watching. I'll just ask them what the score will be before the game so I can go to bed early.
One thing that bothers me with the Sens is that some of the guys have been taking a physical beating over the last while. Spezza has been kneed 3 times and Foligno twice. Greening was high sticked in the face a couple of times a while back but lately it was Smith who was jabbed or cross checked with a high stick at least 3 times and accidentally blindsided. The other night Neil was knocked down in front of the net but the D then pressed his stick in the back of Neil's neck as he lay on the ice and proceeded to cross check down on his neck. This game Neil was blindsided and high cross checked. Most of these were not called or a very few resulted in minor penalties but it really slowed the guys down. Adding to that Daugavins is still obviously hobbled after he stopped a puck a couple of games ago. He came back but he doesn't play the same and neither does Smith.
When you play a lot of hard hitting games with no time to recuperate between games it takes its toll on the body. The support warriors have very little push back left. They are hurt and exhausted. Even the PK is just getting by. The Sens cant count on any goals from these guys now so if the top lines or pp don't score that's pretty much it.
They will need the All-Star break real bad. Hope they have enough left for this game.
We're playing again? We already like 4-5 games ahead of a bunch of teams.
I haven't checked, but do we play our Game 82 in mid-March and then just twiddle our thumbs for another month waiting for the rest of the league to finish?
Time to try to turn out ten Turrible trademarked tepid puns.
Phoenix has to watch for the Turris-t trap Ottawa will bring tonight.
We need to fire pucks at Mike Smith like bullets from a Turr-et.
Kyle is a Turr-urr-ist because he's the bomb.
Anderson's got to stay in his crease - he can't afford to be adven-Turris.
Having Kyle on our roster guarantees that the jerseys we're hearing are considered haute cou-Turris.
Ottawa's offensive game will have Phoenix crying for a forfei-Turr.
Kyle really gives me hope for the fu-Turr.
Imma-Turris as immature does, right 'Yotes fans?
The prefered nomencla-Turris asian-american.
Nature over nur-Turris is being proven with this trade.
Go Sens Go!
These were so bad that I hate myself a bit right now.
