Jean-Michael Liles contract extension with TOR is four years with AAV of $3.875 million. His current AAV on final year of old deal is $4.2M
A little leery on signing a guy who at the moment has concussion problems to a 4 year deal, but he has been great this year with the Leafs.

Provided the cap hit is reasonable, it's a good signing for the Leafs. Consistant and underrated performer throughout his career. Bit of an injury risk, but when healthy he's a lock for 40 points from the back-end. You need mobile guys that can move the puck.
Ill be happy if its the same contract hes currently on. he is absolutely crucial to the leafs PP success imo. It hasnt been bad since hes been out with injury but it definitely has declined.
the big question is the cap hit. its a little strange to see him sign a 4 year extension when he is out with a concussion. This could probably have waited til the off season.

Agreed Guru..... Liles was a big part of our PP and frankly I've been very impressed with his mobility and production. Glad we have him long-term.
Should get around 4-5 depending on term, but on the other hand I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign for 3.5ish. No clue why, just an odd feeling that he might sign for less than he's worth.
