According to the ex-NHL player Patrice Brisebois, there would be a trade in the works sending Corey Perry to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Cory Schneider, Mason Raymond and Keith Ballard.
This was reported by another Ex-NHLer, Enrico Ciccone on the TV Show ''Le Match''.
Still according to Brisebois, Perry would've recently told some Canucks players that he would be ''joining them soon''.
Thoughts?
You buy it? You don't? Is this package enough for Perry?
I wouldnt shoot the messenger but I'd definitely shoot Burke if he cant top that. There is no way Perry gets traded for crap and Schneider when Hiller is easily a top 5-10 goalie when he is healthy.
Now that I've regained my composure, I'm going to have to side with the majority and say that Bob Murray would be insane to make this trade. Mason Raymond and Keith Ballard are both frustrating as hell and they already have a great goalie in Jonas Hiller.

David Booth - Ryan Kesler - Chris Higgins
Alex Burrows - Cody Hodgson - Jannik Hansen

Hiller doesn't exist? Of all the teams to go after Schneider I wouldn't expect the Ducks to be one. It's pretty much Schneider and two cap dumps for Perry, which is ridiculous.
How reliable is this source? There's gotta at least be a 1st rounder thrown in there, and I have a hard time believing that Anaheim needs Schneider unless they're not confident in Hiller.
Almost any other team in the NHL could offer more than that.

1) That package might get you Perry's jock strap.
2) I doubt Breezeby has any inside information what so ever.
3) The ducks are one of the hottest teams at the break and still have a chance to make the playoffs. Why, would the risk all that by trading one of their best players , in a deal centered around a goalie that's not better than Hiller?

-Hiller isn't a top 5-10 goalie.
-Raymond isn't crap, and Ballard has a skill set that still interests teams.
