They just mentioned on Sportscentre that Gagner broke a Gretzky Oiler record by recording points on 11 straight Oiler goals. Gretzky's best run was a point on 10 straight Oiler goals.
Renney's decision to throw Belanger out there was a "We don't even need this round, beeitches" message to Detroit. Scared them stupid. Renney's a boss. Or suffering recurring dementia. One of the two.
I can't stop talking about Eberle though. That guy is insanely good. We have a real treat in this guy. 52 points in 48 games now. He is such a confident player and plays like a veteran.
4-0-1 in the last 5. Much rather watch this then the losses.
Whitney and Barker are huge for this team. It's no coincidence are defensive play has improved since they drew back in. No plugs like Peckham anymore. When Gilbert comes back it will be even better.
Whitney, Gilbert, Barker, Smid, Potter, Petry, Sutton...........much better top 7 then what we had played with a lot of the year. Still need to add a top 4 dman in the offseason of course but I want Cam Barker re-signed on another 1 year deal. I like the way he plays. Hopefully Whitney can be injury free next year. Solid player when healthy.
Great fun watching Gagner and the boys having fun and playing with emotion and desire. This is what it feels like to have a competitive team that plays like they give a ****.
To stay toe to toe with the best in the NHL and beat them in a shootout where they hadn't lost all year is a great result. Full marks for an entertaining game.

That tilted me, but whatever. There's no ******* faceoffs in the SO.
