AJ will undoubtedly pitch better for the Pirates seeing that he's out of the AL East and out of high pressure NY but I will not look back on this deal. I cringed everytime he was due to pitch. Crazy good talent but the inconsistency just became a part of his game. I wish him much success as long as he doesn't end up on a rival.

He went from a franchise that has missed the playoffs 3 out of the last 20 years to a team that has not made the playoffs in that timespan

Pirates have been slowly improving though so I'm interested to see how they'll do this year

Burnett is 35 so I'm glad we were able to move some of that $$
