Yeah if the Canucks get him for that they can start engraving names on the Cup now. I'd up there Schneider, Raymond, Ballard to Gustavsson/Reimer, Grabovski, Gunnarsson. That deal is likely just a bogus he said she said thing anyway.
you'd think there can be something more significant going the other way for vancouver. If they Perry from that deal, that team is stackedddd (but if tehy were to play Bruins again in teh SCF, i'd still say Bruins)

yeah and it sounds off to me, I dont think schneider, and raymond and ballard could get you Perry. Maybe add Hodgson and your getting pretty warm. but I dont see this deal going down without hodgson a part of it.

That being said, I would throw whatever kind of package Dallas is looking for. Schenn+Colborne+MacA...though they would probably want a center in return. Schenn+Colborne+Grabo+Kulemin (insurance that Grabo resigns as his bff is an RFA there)

If true, then that should be Anaheim's prompt to find a new GM. Raymond and Schneider don't provide any reasonable positional upgrade. Being in the same conference should matter as well.
I suppose stranger deals have happened but I can't see why Anaheim does this given Perry's exceptional qualities.
If it is a Western Conference club involved with Vancouver, I'd sooner believe that it's in a deal with Columbus for Carter or Nash given Columbus's needs.

And this is why I am glad that you have nothing to do with trades. It would be absolutely stupid and unnecessary to do something like that. Tell me when a trade like that has happened before.

Nobody said it was acceptable...just me. I have an opinion so take it easy. Benn is a special kind of player and has that 'it' factor as someone else called it. I personally believe someone like that is more valuable than a bunch of above average players. I would also do whatever it takes to get him.

Metaphorically, there is not one person on the Maple Leafs that I feel is worthy of getting their name on a jersey. I would get Benn's jersey in a second.
Jared Boll from CBJ, great 4th line guy 6'2'' 220 pounds reminds me of a bigger Brown bring alot on energy on the ice and can score on occasions i can see him as a Brown/Armstrong hybrid to be honest it would take 4th-5th round pick to get him or a Rosehill for Boll swap maybe?
