I say JT is a bit too high, Moulson is too low & Streit shouldn't be on the list at all.

This list should be throw at the window:

I'm told he is a hard and creative worker, which bodes well for longevity and consistency.
He has to be told about players. He doesn't even know from watching them.

He's maintaining a column along with regularly anchoring Sportscenter. I'll give him a pass on this.

Plus, he has a soft spot for the Isles and their fans and is all about featuring the NHL on ESPN. I like Bucci, one of the good guys over there.

LOL, I was just going to post this. How the heck can someone be taken seriously when he has to be told things about the players he is ranking. Do I feel #29 is fair, yeah, pretty fair. But Buccigross should be the last person to ranking the top 100.

Jonathan Quick doesn't get enough recognition. He is the only reason the Kings aren't losing every game they play because of their low scoring

Jordan Eberle at 71, RHN at 74 and Hall at 80 are crimes against humanity. Seriously. I love Moulson because hes an Islander and a gritty player but hes not better then those guys or Loui Erikson. Moulson should be somewhere around 60-70.

With over 700-800 players in the nhl,I'm not surprised he can't give an in depth scouting report on each player.

I love how some of the top 25 players under 25 are ranked drastically lower than JT.. Ex: Carey Price ranked 11th (25 and under) is ranked 74th overall.. and Niklas Backstrom ranked 3rd and is ranked 96th on this list! This stuff is laughable..

Bucci is clearly anti-goalies and pro-guys who go to the net and get dirty goals.

JT is EXACTLY where he needs to be except that he should clearly be in front of Gaborik. All-world talent, all-crap heart.

That said, I'll take JT's far more complete game, amazingly improved skating, competiveness, and leadership any day of the week and twice on Sunday over Gaborik.

He took a pretty good swipe at Erhoff, calling him soft and suggesting that his contract is part of the problem in the Sabres lockerroom.

taken a little hiatus, though i have been reading...jt is better than 29th in my opinion.....(i am not sure if I'm blinded by the fact we have sucked for so long ((i am only 23)) or is he that good?)

my hunch is he is that good....hes legit top 15 in the nhl...if the isles were good he would be top 10

I don't think we realize what we have in Moulson. He'll have hit 30 goals 3 years in a row soon... and this season is likely near 40. That puts him among some of the best goal scorers in the league. His goals might not look like OV's or Kovalchuks, but he gets a lot of them.

The laughable part probably is that YOU don't know, that the Niklas Backstrom (goalie from Minnesota Wild) ranked 96th on this list is not the Nicklas Backstrom (center from Washington Capitals) ranked 3rd on the other list.

The center from Washington is definitely among the players in top-25 on Bucci's list.

Remember guys. JT is only "Marginally Talented", so he might be too high and should be lower on the list 8-)

I like Moulson but 49 in insane. They should make a law against ESPN reporting on hockey.

How many guys have scored 30 or more goals the last 3 yrs? In an era when 30 goals is elite level i think some people do not appreciate what Moulson has accomplished.

It's a pretty good list (especially for ESPN). Not great-but then again everyone's list is going to be different.

JT should be top 25, Mouslon should be 65-75, and I think Streit is fine in the 90s.

Can't really argue with JT and Moulson's places...maybe Moulson should be a bit higher, as his point production and being +9 on the Islanders (JT is the only other forward who is plus) warrant it, and Moulson is the best player most others have never heard of. Streit though should not be on the list---he has lost a step, as others have said.
