Weird timing though given the performance of this franchise, but perhaps the earlier poster is right that the NHL is really trying to help them out and make this work. Kudos to all involved.
We need a new scoreboard and better wireless Internet access for sure. I've heard they're working on upgrading the communications network. Beyond that, I haven't heard anything.

Wireless internet can be done easily enough.
Scoreboard? Probably expensive but I agree they could use a new one.
But it sounds like everything else is just minor tweaking here and there, which is okay, too. Nationwide can always use some TLC. I don't ever want to see it go the route of other arenas, like the Tampa Bay Times Forum, which was neglected for some time and is finally getting the TLC it needs.
I honestly don't know what to think about this at this point in time. I'm happy. Or am I? I'm so confused.
I can tell you I'm not going to happy. I'm a year 1 10-4-1 psl holder who is screwed when it comes to playoffs and events like the ASG. I've already had the conversation with the Jackets marketing folks who told me that if/when the Jackets host an ASG I won't get lower bowl seats. Just another example of the Jackets disrespecting long term supporters. Granted I'll likely get a chance to buy 2 upper bowl seats; but I highly doubt I'll get a shot at anything similar to the 4 seats I've bought in 120 for the past 10 years. Be advised there will be a lot of national demand and thes tix will go for a premium. I guess if I did not want to go the game it would be a way to recoup some of the 25,000 dollars I've invested in this team. I'd love to hear the jacket management spin on this one.

Don't blame the Jackets, blame the NHL. They determine who has first rights to tickets. Yes full season ticket holders are going to have first choice over partial plans, name one team in the NHL where that wouldn't be the case!
Right off hand, you should be glad if you are given the chance to get tickets. National demand after full season ticket holders could eat up what's left.
