Jaroslav Spacek: "I'm very happy to be gone from that circus in Montreal." *******/ysRSTy Great soundbyte by @BenRaby31.
Saw this posted in the Kostitsyn thread. Thought it was somewhat noteworthy and deserved its own thread.
It makes my blood boil when I look back at the bilingual coach issue, the protest, the Cammalleri comments and I hear a player say this, which is absolutely understandable.
me too- although i wish kaberle would have stayed - but Spacek got probably by far the best offer when he was ufa from montreal- anyways he looks like a clown he fit in well especially when he was running away and falling on the ice and going into fetal position when an OPP was goign after him to beat his a ss
The media spends a lot of time creating the circus, and no time at all accepting their own central role in keeping the ****-storm going full gale. A stong org can fix the team, but the media problems are just something to be ignored. Winning is the only answer, just look at the Yankees.
Good message, Habs are a mess / joke right now! Glad he was traded, but not for Kaberle...notha **** up by Big G. But Spacek has more chins then a chinese phonebook *Bada-Bing*
It's a no brainer that the language issues are a really turn off to non French-speaking players like Spacek and it's not like French players themselves really want to play in MTL either.
He was probably referring to the Mtl media in part. The Mtl media then turns it around and acts like he's blaming management (which he is as well) and acts like it he's not referring to them at all.
