It should be soon. I know they didn't want to do it until after the EPL friendly was announced so they could package that game in with the season tickets. Single game tickets go on sale sometime around 3/1 so maybe around then? That's not my department or I'd give you a better answer

Actually, let me know what you find out about discounts. Ever since I started I wanted to know about that, but never asked anyone in merch. I've been told by some people we allegedly do, but it wasn't reliable enough for me to believe it just like that.

To my understanding, once a month or so they open up the 3rd floor Bullshop for a couple hours for employees to get discounts. It's not a permanent thing but if I here otherwise I'll let you know.

Assuming probably on a non-game day, which I'm obviously not around for. If there is any sort of general discount though, I would definitely use it hours before a game, or if I had to show up on a non-event day. The number that was floated to me was something around 40%, but I don't know how legitimate that is.

I think I still have the Ops Intern business card in my wallet from one of the previous interns MSG had a couple of merch sales like that. They were open to the public, but it was employee-only for the first hour or so. The place would get mobbed about 15 minutes after it opened. Some discounts were up to 90% off. Some stuff useless (t-shirts/jerseys of players who may have been traded/released in the last few months, etc), some stuff awesome (like a nice pair of basketball shorts marked down from $40 to $10). Last one they had I got down there right before it started and was let in early, so I enjoyed it. I do need more Red Bulls gear though. Thinking some sort of light jacket and/or shirts, so if this discount thing works, that would come through pretty clutch.

The blue one.

The yellow one is their alternate kit.

Soccer teams very rarely use their alternate kits, only bringing them out for European away matches or on occasions where, in a domestic match, both their home and away strips clash with the home team's unis.

Call me a traditionalist, but I like the old red and white kit the best.

I was a huge fan of 2005-06 home/07-08 away/07-08 3rd kits.

Brown is very rare.

I like Newcastle's all-black 3rd kit but gimme the traditional black and white stripes. Nothing better.

Arsenal will need to get that one back in the second half. Ugly deflection goal.

Newcastle's home kits are beautiful.

However, and call me biased, but it's hard to top Liverpool's classic all-red strip.

As long as there is a Liverpool Football Club, the Reds will take to the pitch at Anfield in Shankly's kit.

Geez, what a week for Arsenal...about to be knocked out of the FA Cup, more or less knocked out of the Champions League all in the span of a few days. Guess all they have left is the Premier League schedule (and trying to finish fourth)?

Chelsea and Tottenham face replays while Arsenal is out.

Need Liverpool to advance and not get drawn against a possible Cheslea/Tottenham.
