And here I was thinking I would be returning to work in the building earlier than anticipated. Excuse me while I go back to my couch and extreme laziness.

Losses against Conference, League 2 and League 1 are unacceptable for any EPL team but the Championship has some very solid sides.

The problem for a club like Newcastle is that they've been more worried about survival in the EPL rather than progression. This year survival is almost guaranteed by now but they were missing 4 starters. Unlike a the larger clubs, Newcastle doesnt have the reserves to replace 4 starters with top quality.

Arsenal just came back from down 2-nil to tie it. Van Persie penalty, and a bad clearance that bounded off Walcott and into the net. I'll take it.

3-2 Arsenal.

Absolute magic at the Emirates.

Keane is still gold, btw.

Arsenal's win, along with Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool advancing all make the chances of a 3rd spot opening up for Europa League more likely.

That's Newcastle's only chance of reaching Europe at the moment.

Weekend of February 18th.

This means if Tiote and Ivory Coast make it to the finals of the African Cup, he will have 2 weeks before the next EPL game.

I wonder if they'll extend Titi's stay to that game. I think he was supposed to leave after the Milan game on the 15th.

Not saying anything is wrong with it. Just showing people there is no room to add in a home game

Yohan Cabaye, newcastle midfielder and all around stuf for his stunning freekick goal against Manchester United, is likely to be suspended following an incident in the FA cup saturday.

Hope we see a 4-3-3 formation this season. That's what NYRB is built for.
