No, it's kind of annoying, though.
You have no idea how much I despise Man United. It gets under my skin very easily when Man U fans talk about how **** Liverpool is, when in reality your team spent over eight decades as a joke compared to Liverpool.
Who cares? Don't post here then. It's a thread for fans of every football team. If it deeply offends you and ruins your day you shouldn't be bothered coming here because it doesn't bother me one bit when people are praising Chelsea or Arsenal players or jeering united players.

Really dude? Come on... If that's all it takes to get you riled up you need to re-consider what threads your partaking of here.
And a note to all: All the same rules apply here as they do on the entire site.

this isn't a hockey thread and as far as I've seen, "what is said in the GOOOOOOAL! thread stays in the GOOOOOAL! thread."
Formerly pgx jumped ship from Arsenal to Liverpool. The teams he was "supposed to hate" changed and he's still getting used to it in my opinion.
Let me set the record straight...
My favorite club is Liverpool. I like and respect Arsenal, but I'm very much a supporter of LFC.
When I was a "fan" of Arsenal, I was still testing the waters and a new follower of the Premiership.
Now, my three most hated clubs in order:
1) Man United
2) Chelsea
3) Tottenham

As far as I know, everyone of my friends who follows the Premiership and aren't Man United, Chelsea, or Tottenham supporters, hate Man United, Chelsea, and Tottenham.

Plus, the way Manchester united has owned the EPL (and most of the last 20 years) they have every right to **** on Liverpool.
We say it all the time concerning the Rangers. They do have 1 more Cup than the Devils but it was so long ago...
Accept even a Cup double isn't that impressive, pgx. Now if it was Newcastle? Sure, considering they haven't won a domestic title since the 50s.
Doesn't mean I can't loathe Man United and talk **** about them at every chance at I get.
And for this Liverpool squad, one that's trophy-less since 2006 and with no hope in hell of making a run for the League and barely having a shot at the Champions League, a Cup double would be something I'd be more than happy with and something worth celebrating.
I never said you couldn't loathe them but from an outsiders perspective, they have every right to.
Now if a Mackem tried to claims superiority over Newcastle, well, they have 6 titles (last in 1936) to go with 2 FA cups while my club can boast 4 titles (last in 1927) but 6 FA cups.
Just a big pissing contest when neither club has won anything of significance since Sunderlands 1973 FA cup victory
