So true. I love the main event, co-main and the Jorgensen/Bareo fight but after that there's pretty much nothing that excites me. The only other fight that is relevant to a title picture is Poirer's and it sounds like he should win that one easily enough.
Yeah the Poirier fight is kind of a shame, they first had him matched up with Eric Koch which would have been a hell of a fight, then he got injured and they replaced him with Ricardo Lamas (which at least would have been a decent test), then *he* got injured so now they have some newcomer fighting a guy who is probably way out of his league. What can you do though.
Pierce/Koscheck is kind of intriguing, I mean, the fight could end up stinking but at least Pierce has some of the skills needed to give Kos a good challenge.

I can't even get that excited for the co-main, hopefully those two come in shape for if it goes 15 mins.
I like watching Koscheck fight but Pierce isn't a very intriguing fight to me.
Just saw Lopez is out of the Riddle fight too, terrible. That fight had sleeper FOTN potential although realistically you can just hand that cheque over to Diaz and Condit now.
I have no idea how Herman vs Starks is a main card fight on what is supposed to be one of the biggest cards of the year. You can win one super-boring fight and you're on the main card now? Ugh..

I figure the main event will be great, the co-main will hopefully be great, and I like Koscheck & Herman enough to make any fight they're in interesting. Definitely not the best card but not the worst either.
Eh, I love the main card, and I think the under card should produce some really exciting fights.
Its a far cry from past Super Bowl cards, especially last year's which was absolutely stacked from top-to-bottom. I would've liked to see something from that stacked Japan card moved onto the main card here. Oh well.
I think Nelson/Werdum and Kos/Pierce will go a long way in how the card ends up. These guys have put on fun fights in the past, but they've all also put on very boring ones.
I don't see how the main event doesn't deliver though. I wonder if the UFC wishes they had done Diaz/Condit on Fox 2.

Yeah, I don't get the Herman hate, he's not a big name but his BJJ is really fun to watch. His guard looked really good in his last fight.
Koscheck and Pierce looks like it's going to be a sloppy brawl, two guys who are primarily wrestlers who think they're better strikers than they are.

Interim Welterweight Championship bout: Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit - I think these two guys are perfectly even. Condit has the better all-around game, but if the fight stays standing you can't go against Diaz. I think Diaz will win a decision, 49-46 or something along those lines.
Heavyweight bout: Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum - Too close to call, but I'll pick Werdum to win an ugly decision.
Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce - I actually kind of like Pierce here to pull the upset. I'm not going to pick him though because I'm a huge Kos fan and can't cheer against him.
Bantamweight bout: Renan Barão vs. Scott Jorgensen

MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)
Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz (for interim welterweight title) - this is a real tough fight to call, IMO. These guys are pretty much at the exact same level, I think Diaz squeaks out a UD in an all out WAR (due to his punches in bunches strategy).
Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum - I don't see either of these guys getting the finish here. Roy hits harder but Werdum has better technique, I'll say he pops him with enough jabs/combos to get the decision. SD.
Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce - taking the upset here. Pierce matches up very well against Kos and looked really comfortable in his fight against Fitch, leading me to beleive he'll bring it for this fight. Split decision.
Renan "Barao" Pegado vs. Scott Jorgensen - tough fight here for Scotty but I'm a huge fan & can't go against him, UD.
Ed Herman vs. Clifford Starks - 2nd RNC

MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)
Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz (for interim welterweight title) - Have to go with Diaz here. Condit is a good fighter but Diaz's boxing is just so good and he's pretty good on the ground too. Won't be shocked at all if Condit pulls it out but I've got my money on Diaz.
Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum - I love Big Country so gunna have to go with him here.
Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce - Not sure how people can really call for a Pierce victory. Kos surely will be motivated to start climbing back up the division ladder.
Renan Barao vs. Scott Jorgensen Ed Herman vs. Clifford Starks

Id rather see Diaz win just so we can see Diaz vs GSP that would be epic....I think Diaz pulls off a UD in 5 round FOTN
