Penn and Serra are significantly smaller than Diaz and Miller isnt in the same class.

I could see GSP Gnp'ing his way to a decision. Again. In fact, that's the only way he wins the fight imo.

Considering Hardy has zero ground game, GSP not finishing him on the ground is..........more than a little suspect.

MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)
Carlos Condit vs. Nick Diaz (dec) -- As many have mentioned, this is a tough fight to call but I think Condit has what it takes to win it. As much as Diaz is on a great run, he's had some close calls lately. Daley dropped him and even Cyborg was able to hurt him with leg kicks. Condit has had close calls as well (including a loss to Kampmann and near-losses to Ellenberger and MacDonald), but a lot of that was due to superior wrestling by his opponents, which isn't an advantage that Diaz will have in this fight.
I expect Condit the legs a lot in this fight, he has good kicks. On the flip side, whether or not he can deal with Diaz' punching volume and body work is going to be a big factor as well. Honestly there are very few outcomes from this fight that would surprise me (aside from Condit submitting Diaz which I think is highly unlikely).

Roy Nelson vs. Fabricio Werdum (dec) -- Roy's got the advantage in striking power, but I think that's about it. There might be a couple of hairy moments for Werdum but I think his overall striking game is better than Roy's (in particular he's used his knees pretty effectively in the past), and Big Country isn't going to want to tangle with him on the ground.

Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce (KO) -- Going off the board a bit on this one. I think Koscheck might take Pierce a bit lightly and get a surprise a la Paulo Thiago. Kos by decision is probably a safer pick, but hey.

Renan Barao vs. Scott Jorgensen (dec) -- This should be a really solid fight. Jorgensen is going to bring it but in the end I think Barao is just a little more solid all around.

Ed Herman vs. Clifford Starks (dec) -- Didn't really see enough of Starks in his debut fight to really be able to judge how good he is. I'm not all that high on Herman but I'll bank on his experience being able to carry him in this one.

PRELIMINARY CARD (FX)
Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier (sub)
Matt Riddle vs. Henry Martinez (KO)
Alex Caceres vs. Edwin Figueroa (dec)
Matt Brown vs. Chris Cope (KO)
Dan Stittgen vs. Stephen Thompson (KO)
Rafael Natal vs Michael Kuiper (dec)

Then then arm breaks if GSP applies the submission properly. Dan Hardy has some of the worst grappling in MMA and GSP couldn't get the finish after 25 minutes. I don't see him submitting Diaz who's one of the best BJJ guys at WW.

Condit is the best fighter, by a pretty big margin, that Diaz has fought in about 5 years. should be an interesting fight. Diaz has mostly beaten washed up or "meh" fighters since he was released from the UFC.

Also I'm glad that Nick finally stopped calling Carlos 'Conduit'
When was the last time Diaz submitted as a good wrestler as GSP?

Don't worry. I'll wait.

I do think the strength will be a massive advantage for GSP over Diaz. It could look like Rory MacDonald vs Nate Diaz all over again.

But ill worry about that fight when it happens. Should be a good one tonight first.

Tonight's fight is gonna be ridiculous. I really don't know who is going to win. I am picking "Conduit", but it could really go either way.

Yup, the last time I had no idea who would win a main event was Shogun/Henderson. Just too close to call. Hopefully this one can deliver.

I think Rosenthal would have been the ideal ref--these guys both will put each other in tough situations, but both have the toughness to get out of tough situations. We need a ref who won`t stop the fight too quickly--that`s the only way (barring something truly bizarre) that this fight will disappoint.

Greg Jackson is such a huge dbag.

I like Condit a lot. But I like Diaz a little more. Should be a great fight.

I like Diaz, but haven't seen enough of Condit to vote. One things for sure I've never seen a boring fight when a Diaz bro is involved.

Stittgen looked like he was asked to come off the street and fight for the first time in his life. Nice headkick, but good lord Stittgen looked awful.

Well if anyone missed the Thompson fight then don't worry, you'll be seeing that one on the PPV as soon as they have any spare time.

Is there an HQ SopCast stream? I sorta remember one that was like 24267 or something like that but I'm not 100% sure and would like to use SopCast for tonight.

If I was rich I'd hire Burt Watson away from the UFC and have him be my personal motivator and assistant.
